I actually do like Wallin as a fighter. As to Hearn offering Babic as a replacement fight, it's not really a comparison. Babic has 8 fights against club level opposition, Wallin is looking for meaningful fights that will propel him in the rankings not being the headline of a circus act.

It makes sense for Whyte to back out of the Wallin fight and take on Fury. I get it and don't criticize him for that. However, people have every right to criticize how he went about doing it (feign injury, back out, protest at people questioning veracity and take issue with resulting scepticism and derision).

The Babic fight would have given him a payday.

Babic is a circus act. Was the "payday" the same amount, include future options, etc? If it was just about getting a payday, he could probably sign on to fight Alexander Flores at the bottom of a PBC card.

Wallin was a payday for Whyte, why not just accept that? Perhaps because Whyte wants a more meaningful (and lucrative) fight. Wallin is not entitled to wanting the same? Again, I don't criticize Whyte's going after the Fury fight just they way he's going about it.

Until Whyte opened his yap and claimed to have an MRI showing damage. So, either Whyte said something really ****** or something that is actually true and verifiable.

The MRI would probably show inflammation in any fighters shoulders, that are in training camp. Like I said, it sucks, but there's nothing Salita can do about it! What Salita needs to do is get Wallin into the Top 10! He's not ranked in the Top 15 by neither WBC, WBA, IBF, nor WBO!

Complete and utter bs from Whyte!

Wallin was a "hand picked cherry" but Whyte had a rematch clause?

Would have saved $100k in three weeks? So Whyte spends +$350k per camp? In Portugal?!

                    I think "he protesteth too much . . "
