I'd lace em up against you any day and would hopefully knock some sense into you.

For me, Floyd is the greatest of my era (I am early 30’s,) he is a wizard in the ring and it really annoys me when people disrespect him. He has done so much for the sport

When do you think he will get the credit he deserves?
He always gets respect from me. I am a fan of him inside the ring. But I have to stay level on everything since i’ve been a true witness of his era. I’ve seen, read, confirmed and watched all the issues unfold during his career and what not, and it’s truly hard to just give all the credit when you know so much.

I know he didn’t fight the best version of mosley. The best version of oscar, the best version of pacman, the best version of cotto. That he cheated on the scales against marquez.
Those 5 wins would have been enough to catapult him to straight cut GOAT status. But in his case it didn’t. Regardless of who’s at fault he just didn’t or wasn’t able to fight them at their best versions. So i can’t give him full credit like he did.
the only win i was super satisfied with was against canelo and demn it was at 152. Floyd always gives you an asterisk.

i like floyd and in the future, a lot of people will just read the books, punch stats and the records im sure they’ll consider him the goat. But when you’re in his era.. you just witnessed a lot of BS to totally give him all the credit.

The self preservation issues. Health issues. Glove issues. Testing issues. Sucker punch issues. There’s just too much to be honest and i haven’t even touched the surface.

Based on records alone, on stats, he can be the goat.. but i just know deep down that he engineered everything and fought everyone at his own time. — atleast later in his career.

It was not the best version of Floyd in any of those fights either, that's the bit that doesn't gel, and in the meantime, Manny gets a pass for everything and more than Floyd ever did why is that, why didn't you mention that Mosley delayed the fight because of a tooth, why is that the versions of Oscar and Mosley and Cotto were all better versions than what Manny beat, why is fine print always left out as people slap Mayweather, its because Floyd never lost if he did he just becomes one of the others.

Its like Floyd is isolated and all the others get a pass like they were White Knights that never lie, that's the total BS of all the hate Floyd gets and that is what I get up on.

I will always say, May EASILY keeps his 0 if he had Pac's resume.
Pac could not survive May's resume.

                  FIVE TIMES ?!?!?

Pac fought Mosley AFTER May did

Warrior Pac refused to rematch Cotto unless Cotto agreed to another *
The DLH and Cotto May fought would have killed Pac.

                  Pac is not ******

He made his whole living and persona off being someone everyone hates and people are wondering why people aren't praising him?

And not only that most fans in here don't even see 1/2 the skills he shows, this forum as a whole is the worst judge of boxing you can find, there is a reason why ALL the common opponents of Manny and Floyd state Floyd is the best they fought, how do these people skip over that like its nothing, its sooooo significant in the big picture of rating Mayweather, you don't hear top fighters and trainers talk the rubbish like fans do, they know better, they understand what is on display.

Floyd is the best of his era no doubt about it, that is why he beat everyone, as time goes by history will look back and go wow what a ring genius he was.
