I don't know who you are, but you have no logic whatsoever. I'll tell you what , put Pac's record alongside Mayweather's. Then check off how many " prime vs prime " fights each of them had . All opponents. Mayweather can't even carry Pac's jockstrap. Nevermind the fact welterweight wasn't even Pac's best weight class. I mean this guy PAC fought everyone...in their prime. Barrera 2x, Morales, 3 times, Marquez 3 times. The list is endless. Hatton, Clottey, DelaHoya , Margarito, Cotto( long before Mayweather fought him) . Yes, sometimes there will be losses when you test your greatness against the best of the best. Ali lost to Frazier, both in their prime , Leonard lost to Duran in their primes. The list is long and heavy on great champions that lost in their primes. Why? Because they took risks. Floyd was the biggest fraud of all time in boxing. Always was and still is. Floyd's best fight was long before he was " Money " Mayweather. His best fight was against Diego Corrales at 130lbs as " Pretty Boy " Floyd Mayweather. And even at that, Corrales wasn't a legend of any sort but a damn good fighter. That was Floyd's biggest win . After that, he was a fraud. All his fights were set up so he would win. No risk of losing. His management team are genius . His management team should be going to the Hall of Fame before Floyd.———-
Using your logic and I hope you’ll agree, you’re saying Porter cannot be Crawford’s “toughest test” if Brook and Spence beat him, yes?
So, how could Pacqiao beat Floyd anytime in his career when he got beat by several guys? Including a couple of KO’s?
Or how can Pacqiao be even remotely better or greater than Floyd when Floyd is 50-0 and also Floyd vanquished Marquez who KO’d PAC??
Just using your logicLast edited by breeto80; 10-24-2021, 09:49 PM.Comment

Crawford has had a very easy ride at the top. Porter, despite his loses, should be a great guage as to whether Crawford should even be on a P4P list. He is not a top 5 candidate to me. He's barely a 9th or 10th ranked fighter if you ask me. A loss to Porter, which is a possibility, should take Crawford out of the top 10 P4P rankings altogether.Comment

Crawford and how highly he thinks of himself is funny as hell.
“Unlike other fighters that [Porter] fought, I’m different. I believe you know that I’m different.”
Man….Porter fought Errol Spence, Yordenis Ugas, Kell Brook, Keith Thurman, and DSG. All in their prime. Even Porter’s sparring partners are better than Crawford’s resume. Porter was Pacquiao’s sparring partners back before he made it big.
Porter can say he is better than anyone on Crawford’s resume and that would be more accepted to be true by fans and media.
Porter’s lower level wins like Granados, Broner, Alexander, Julio Diaz, Berto, Malignaggi, Robinson, Lo Greco, and Alfonso Gomez, are more in line with Crawford’s weak resume. The above aforementioned names are the names you would catch on Crawford’s resume as the best he has fought.Comment

Crawford is just another delusional overpaid fighter. If people would stop paying these clowns millions for fighting tomatoes then this **** would stop. Pay people to the level of there opposition and nothing more.Last edited by Boxing Scene; 10-25-2021, 01:13 AM.Comment

I do not recall, while I have been watching boxing since the 90s, a weaker resume for a fighter who was ranked as a top 3 P4P fighter.Crawford has had a very easy ride at the top. Porter, despite his loses, should be a great guage as to whether Crawford should even be on a P4P list. He is not a top 5 candidate to me. He's barely a 9th or 10th ranked fighter if you ask me. A loss to Porter, which is a possibility, should take Crawford out of the top 10 P4P rankings altogether.
Before Crawford, I thought Roman Gonzalez’s resume and skills were being blown way out of proportion listing him #1 P4P and top 3 P4P. I was so lost as to why. To make it worse, while ranked #2 he fought Valentin Leon, with a 29-29 record, which was the worst fighter I have ever seen a “top 3 P4P” fighter fight. Followed by Edgar Sosa, 51-8 and Brian Viloria. That win sent him up to #1. Then he looked completely mediocre in his next 3 fights vs Rungvisai and Cuadras.
But Crawford really takes the cake. He is a head scratcher. I guess when you look great for so long, vs mediocre opponents, KO’ing them, writers start to praise you because the elites are battling eachother to 12 round decisions. KO’s vs mediocre opponents looks better than close decision wins over elites. Those who have close fights with elite fighters are labeled as being “exposed”. While beating Jeff Horn, Kavaliouskas and Jose Benavidez means you are the next Sugar Ray Robinson.Comment

Canelo has to actually fight someone not shot at 175 to unify. Which he will not until they're old and washed up. I wouldn't call that any kind of amazing feat. Just like unifying ****ty 168 isn't.Comment
