    P4P is a mythical title. If you're mentioned in the Top 10 for P4P you are a serious boxer, with exciting wins and stoppages. Boxing is such that a guy not even in the Top 10 can sometimes have a great night and defeat a Top 10 P4P, no matter who has the better skills. The right punch at the right time changes everything for everyone.

    That said, Crawford is a monster, even with a weak overall resume. His dismantling of Horn at 147 doesn't get proper due. Horn at 147 would present all WW's with a real problem. Crawford dismantled him ... impressively. Crawford belongs in the conversation with Spence, Porter, and the young lions coming up at WW. The Porter fight will make or break his aura at WW. It is a tremendous fight against a top-shelf WW. I still think Porter gets the upset ... and sets up a tremendous rematch to come. But Crawford can definitely win this fight ... close or in devastating fashion. He's that good, too.

    I'm still picking Porter though.

      I think that Crawford will shut Porter out and break him down

      he has a much tighter game than Spence... this will be a much more difficult fight for Porter, it will be a lot harder for him to create opportunities

        interesting...

        Gvozdyk - who fought Beterbiev, and sparred Benavidez and Usyk - agree's with me on... pretty much everything

        * Crawford is probably the best fighter on the planet
        * Canelo beats Beterbiev
        * Benavidez gives Canelo fits, and is obviously his best opponent
        * Fury beats Usyk

          This will be a very interesting fight. Two top fighters coming to fight and adjusting to each other's style and approach. Porter, of course, will come in aggressive and he'll be coming in low while Crawford will try to land uppercuts on the advancing Porter in an attempt to hurt him and stand him up straight. It's often been said that pressure and effective aggression will take away a lot of the advantages superior technicians normally enjoy...but sometimes the accuracy, timing, speed and power of the technician are such that having a fighter attacking him can be turned to his advantage. Porter's a very capable and smart fighter who can make adjustments on the fly too and that's what makes this a very interesting fight. Who will be able to impose their will? Have to wait and see.

            Crawford is such a ***** tbh dude just has no balls and won’t put it on the line. Trying to worm his way to p4p with his resume nah mate never just a shame he wastes his prime and says **** like “I don’t need the Spence fight” no respect for this guy at all.

              it would definitely give him solid points for it.

              he’s not over Canelo in my book but knocking Porter stiff, unable to stand? He’s over Naoya at that one.
              That's what I'm saying.

              If he does to Porter what has NEVER been done? That's huge. It's like Hagler/Hearns all over again.

              And age isn't an excuse because they're close in age. Meanwhile, Crawford is up against the guy that damn near beat the man of the division and shut out the IBO Champion.

              This is a 50-50 fight, period. If Crawford just washes Porter, I say it immediately puts him in the Top 10 overall and certainly #3 at welterweight.
