But it was a bit too late because all the punishments he took to his right eye in the first 3rds took its toll on him.

Also, there were about 5 times when AJ caught Usyk flush and wobbled him a bit by beating him to the punch but rather than hit the guy with bad intentions - he just jabbed the guy in the face with his punches and pull back. There’s a video on YouTube that showed everything hence some people have started thinking that there’s a conspiracy and moneygrab going on. One was actually interesting: it was one of the few times AJ moved his head when Usyk threw his left and he countered Usyk and caught him on chin but pulled back from the punch and just jabbed Usyk’s chin with it.

Fury on the other hand is plodding kronk Fury now. He can NEVER be the 245lbs nimble Fury again unless he wants bums to spark him out cold. You can’t make 30lbs switch in boxing and look decent. And it’s evident in how trash Ruiz looked against Arreola.

Any version of Fury struggle against boxers with quick feet and angles. And he also struggles against southpaws and his leaning on boxers with a workrate like Usyk who never gasses. So I doubt if the plodding kronk Fury stands a chance - he’ll get outboxed and sparked late when he gasses (he gassed in the Wilder fights 2 & 3 but just had a bit more than Wilder who was gone).
There was no fix in mate, Usyk almost killed Joshua in the 12th round and it was him pulling his shots.

I was an AJ fan for many years, am still greatful for the entertainment over the years but he's mentally checked out from the sport, he doesn't look like he wants to fight anymore and seems to only be doing it out of a sense of obligation, he can't win an immediate rematch, not with this team and the state of mind he's in, I expect this rematch to be his last fight.

Both guys haven't been up to much ..beating aj was kind of a big deal considering the size differential and usyks ability to take a shot was proven imo

They both haven't been up to much and usyk did look under pressure from chisora but I feel if Fury puts on a similar pressure to get inside he can be hurt

I favour usyk from what I've seen them both do in the ring ...

Usyks never been hurt but fury has been flattened several times
Fury has been flattened by including the hardest puncher in the sport in years and was fine seconds later.

Man fury is going to **** all over all you guys YET again when he murks this guy.

Fury's footspeed and ring coverage make that quite achievable.

Joshua in a rematch is in no way a "harder challenge" lmao

Joshua is a boxer puncher who stands at mid range and throws combinations, he has a rudimentary back foot game but fighting his usual style plays right into Usyk's hands, and he's proven he can't do anything different.

Fury is a totally different proposition, he can choose to box at long range and move around and see how Usyk deals with that, if Usyk can find a way past the 85" reach then he will get 277lbs close up on him.

Watch fury ragdoll Usyk and then afterwards "muh if they were the same size doe" well they aren't the same size, Fury is 277lbs

Remember how badly fury murked Cunningham when he decided to use his size, well fury is 25lbs bigger than even he was then.

Basically Fury can have a go at boxing Usyk at range if that doesn't work he will utilise his fall back plan which will be to Chisora Usyk, only difference is fury is 6'9" 277lbs not 6'2" 250 and has 12 rounds of stamina, not 2
I agree. Fury ALL day! Every day. He won't ve scurred like AJ was.

in fact I think AJ beats him in the rematch. So we should be talking about Fury vs. Aj

I didn’t say conclusively that there was a fix but there were uncharacteristic things that happened during the fight that are making people ask questions.

At no point in the two instances in the video was Usyk going to throw anything back. AJ caught him flush but jabbed in his punches and pulled back. Those were just instances - there were many more in the fight.

You’re right about being mentally checked out (I did allude to that even before the fight). He’s insecure and doesn’t want to get hit. When you have made the crazy money he has made with a short period - it’s hard to want to get punched in the face. Josh hides his money but he’s made more than £200-250 million from his fights alone and his endorsements are huge.

At Fury's best, Usyk doesn't stand a chance.

Yeah a really hard puncher based on him rolling over a bunch of static stiffs who couldn't move their head

Fury was not fine when he got up anytime against wilder he was just lucky he was fighting a guy who got over excited and nullified his own work something usyk or a more talented boxer wouldn't do

Furys also been floored and badly hurt by feather fisted cunningham and the nobody pavjic

I won`t convince you. Fury must fight Usyk to prove he beats him.

He does have a hard time with southpaws--Wallin and Pianeta took him the distance--but to say that Usyk will spark out Fury is crazy. He has showed us time and time again that he can pull himself off the canvas and recover very quickly against the hardest puncher in the heavyweight division. Usyk's greatest chance to win is smart movement, countering, and using his high work rate to win rounds on the judges' scorecards. If Kronk Fury succeeds in repeatedly locking him in the sleeper hold he can easily drain Usyk's energy, strong-arm him into the ropes, and then ragdoll him with hooks until the smaller man's body collapses from the punishment.

Usyk was able to outbox a "clean" boxer like Joshua with footwork and timing but I'm less sure he'll be able to do the same against someone like Fury who's constantly feinting, switching stances, holding, leaning on, stealing sneaky punches on the inside etc. Of course Usyk is such a well-drilled fighter who typically comes in impeccably prepared and always steps up for important fights so it's not out of the question that he'd be prepared for all of that but my assumption would be that everything Fury brings would be too much for him in the end. If he proves me wrong and pulls it off then we need to start having conversations about how he stacks up against the pantheon of heavyweight legends, if he repeats against Joshua and then does the same against Fury then he has a case for being the GOAT

Dirty, rough, street tactics . . like it or not, but we just have to accept that Fury is very good at what he does.

He's learned from Wladimir and then taken that style to a whole new level. Sort of a boxer-wrestler hybrid, with massive arms and an iron chin.
