I hope Spence has been using all this time off to not only get back into full shape, but also make some improvements that were needed even before the crash. He needs if we’re finally going to get that fight against Crawford eventually.

I was at a point with that fight, where I almost stopped caring and was resigned to it never happening. However, Crawford-Porter getting made has given me fresh hope that it might actually happen in 2022. It’s still the best matchup in boxing for me. I’m a big Spence fan but I’d have to favour Crawford tbh.

You think the retina tear was from the car accident? You really think a retina tear went that long without Spence noticing? PersonallyI think it was from taking a few good punches in sparring.

And I get what you are saying about Manny Money but from what I see Haymon takes care of his guys financially. Errol can likely make the same amount fighting a tune up then Ugas. Losing to a 42yo wouldve lowered the max minimum.

The tear could have happened in sparring, in the fight vs Danny or in the accident or even all the above. When did I say anything about the torn retina happening during the accident?

Errol is not making more money fighting anyone else than he would fighting Pacquiao...May get the same or around the same vs Crawford since he will get a better split.

It's a great fight between the #2 and #3 WWs in the world...the #1 being Boots of course lol.

But the fight needs to happen and it's going to deliver in the ring. No way it doesn't.

I’m high on Ennis too, I like the kid as well, not all hot air like a lot of these young cats.

He’s being matched well too IMO, getting the right experience, not being rushed.

February of 2022 seems a bit too soon to return from a detached retina if one were to ask me. I still think Spence needs more time heal; Perhaps as much as 12-15 months.
