Porter's biggest wins were vs individuals who has done next to nothing as a welterweight. Danny, Paulie, etc....those guys were great at smaller weight classes, but as a welterweight they were average at best. vs the elite welterweights, Porter has consistently come up short. 0-3. How the hell can you say you are going to be on the brink of Hall of Fame if you are able to beat a man you and your fans argue is only great because he "cherry picked" his opponents?

PBC fans argue that Crawford isn't Hall of Fame qualified TODAY....even without a fight vs Porter or any of the other welterweights he's been calling for. But now all of a sudden, Porter is supposed to be qualified if he beats Crawford............lol.

I guess Jeff Horn should be in the HOF for his win over Manny....same with Ugas.......both of them have a better win than Porter as a welterweight.....

Learn to read. Porter won't be intimidated, he has fought a lot of top fighters, Crawford doesn't not have one credible WW in his resume.

Porter’s only wins were contentious split decisions, and he lost to the other top fighters. Judges seem to love his busy style, but if you pay attention the boxing skills of Danny Garcia and Ugas were negating his inaccurate punches in bunches while they would catch and counter with more accurate, effective counterpunches. I had both beating him on my card, and I think Crawford will catch him coming in with his head down all night long. If he finishes on his feet, he’ll be in rough shape.

I think Porter gets knocked out but I'm hoping he surprises me and wins this. If he does, he's as close to the HOF as any other welter in this era not named Floyd or Pac.

Learn to write ; "doesn't not have"... And for your information, Porter is already intimidated. Just listen to what he has said from the time the fight was announced; he is trying to convince himself he has a chance, but deep down, he knows... He knows what he's up against and he knows that Crawford is a very bad man.

There’s no way he beats Crawford. Of all the semi above average fighters out there, Porters footwork is the most bouncy telegraphic. His shuffle game is pretty wack.

And when he throws his telegraphic hooks from the outside(?), they end up being wild enough to the point he falls of balance as he awkwardly misses and tries to bring his hands to his temples - to defend his half protected grill - that’s when Crawford catches him!

I wouldn’t be surprised if Crawford floors him twice before he goes on to win a UD. But with boxing you never know. Really can’t see Porter winning though; but he certainly does have a HOFer work ethic that has contributed to him kicking some notable ass
