He's not faded. Blowout of the IBO Welterweight Champion and damn near beating the unified welterweight champion is not faded.

Porter's a tough fight for anyone but he loses when he steps up in class and Crawford is a step up and another loss for Shawn.

Up above, I wrote Porter is Porter. & By that I mean, he's going to do what he does. Mike Tyson had a good jab. But that tactic was not his calling card. He attempted to box morevs Ugas & won by a razor-thin margin. Porter boxing & jabbing more in negligible. If you said he threw fewr wide shots...lunged less or smothered his own work...or even perhaps remained more on balance to get full power into his shots, I'd agree he improved. But that's not the case. Him mixing things up a bit ratherthan being constantly connected to his opponent is not an attribute that will help him in this fight. & also, likely a result of the style. A warmer simply HAS to slow down at some point in his career & begin to use craft. But attempting to box & out jab Bud won't cut the mustard. Porter is Porter & will be next Sat night.

Ugas and Garcia got thrown off when Porter came to box instead of pressuring. Not only he boxed he showed a jab and speed, that is another wrinkle that most have to overcome. He already brings the chin, stamina and work rate. The only thing that Porter lacks is real power
