News Flash! That was a joint, co-promotion between two rival promotional companies and platforms. Top Rank, the PBC, ESPN and Fox. They all assumed the financial risks and obligations for that card. However, in this case, we have only one promotional company who is assuming all of the financial risks and that is the PBC.

This undercard is not good at all. I get Canelo carried the card but at least put someone on the undercard he plans to fight like Floyd did with him.

Haymon should’ve put Benavidez or Charlo on the undercard. Or at the very least some of the talented JWW’s he has.

Or maybe ask Gary Russell to fight a 2nd time this year. Is that too much to ask?

Cards like this don’t help the sport and give legitimate fuel for his Internet haters anger.
