Fair points from Bradley, usually mostly agree with him. Yes, Joshua would have to show that fire he showed against Whyte.

He does seem to be gracious in defeat, but maybe he should make up some dislike for an opponent before a fight.

Before and during a fight it's battle mode. After a fight then you can hug and shake hands or whatever. Can he beat Usyk? It's possible, but he'd have to be hugely improved. Usyk will get better as well.

Yes, but how many fighters would've finished the fight on their feet against Wlad? He was how old, 41? That's not old in boxing when you've led a decent career with a jab and hook alone in most cases.

This is why I said he led a career based on his jab and hook alone in most cases. Yes, both brothers were robotic and boring, but they got the job done with their size and fundamentals....THIS is why his career lasted as long as it did.

He was already fighting scared before Ruiz got him. His timidity can be traced back to old man Wlad finding his chin and nearly stopping him. Since that moment, even in fights Joshua easily won, he has been incredibly timid. Even old man Pulev, who couldn't crack an egg 10+ years ago when he was good, had Joshua fighting scared for long stretches.

Right now AJ is in a win/win situation. He can lose to Usyk in the rematch and still make more money than most active heavyweights in novelty fights and until Usyk loses he can sell it by saying he lost to a undefeated undisputed guy in Usyk. Why would he care about losing when he is still on top of the world.

There is barely a state of the heavyweight division. Show by the fact that the last five dominant fighters of the division have just been oversized men who got by mostly on being oversized. We are now starting to see a surge in hw where we may end up with a new decent generation of fighters but it also seems if you aren’t at least 6’4” or taller there is no future for you in the division.
