I completely destroy any justification of Russell Mora with the counter-argument of the 'Neutral-Corner' protocol.

As this clip clearly shows that the command to go to the nuetral corner by Mora and Deontay Wilder's compliance to said orders, only takes a mere split-second. The logic from the opposition is as follows : that the time-lapse between when Russell Mora gave the order and when Deontay Wilder acts on his instruction, meets reasonable world-class referee standards for the noticeable delay.

It takes Russell Mora 15 seconds to count to 8, it would of taken him around 20 to count to 10. I warned any of you that is foolish enough to try me, we can look at previous incompetent calls by Russel Mora if you want to back this crook. But I know that you cowards will insult me and try to justify this by referencing other fights, that have no baring on the matter.

Yeah, Who reviewed it? King/Tyson, and the impeachable HBO, lol. Any attempts to initiate serious reviews by the sanctioning bodies on the part of King/Tyson were shut down within days as the attempt to prevent Douglas from being called the champion etc was widely ridiculed and seen as absurd by the sporting press, fans, and many other unexpected corners. As for HBO, when they re-aired the fight a week or so later, Merchant did a little expose piece on the long count Douglas received, which ended up being close to 14 secs which, oddly enough, was pretty spot on close to the same amount of time Tyson received as he was crawling about looking for his mouthpiece. that was as official as any review regarding that fight got

I think Joe knows more about mma than he knows about boxing, but he has some knowledge for sure.

One thing is clear, whether the ref counted quice,o slower, orh whenever he picked up the count, Fury was in full control of getting up in time.

Wilder, on the other hand, always struggled more to get up from his knockdowns.

There's no opinion. The rules are the rules. Anyone claiming the count is 10 seconds or the ref shouldn't stop the count are wrong. That's a fact.


Here's the unified rules of boxing.

"When a knockdown occurs, the downed boxer’s opponent shall go to the furthest neutral corner and remain there while the count is being made. The referee may stop counting if the opponent fails to go to the neutral corner, and resume the count where he/she left off when the opponent reports to or returns to the neutral corner."

Could have done with this answer in lots of previous fight posts Very clear its a count to ten, a count of ten Not Ten Seconds ........and ref may stop count. Stop! Not carry on counting while he deals with opponent, he stops count then resumes from where he previously got to. Therefore a count can be longer than 10 seconds.

Please also note now in fights most refs after a knock down ask "are you ok", "Do you want to continue". "Walk towards me". "Put your gloves up"......this is for the safety of the fighters and not to allow them more time to recover, though it does give them more time, however if they fail to respond they get stopped.

It was a long count and a mistake by the ref but there was no favoritism or cheating. IMO.

Are you trolling, or are you really that dim? Lol Any punch behind the ear is considered a rabbit punch, ya mong. Nice try with the photo. Choosing one from an awkward angle that where you can't quite tell that Fury's head is turned to the right. Unfortunately, poppet, we all watched the fight and saw it land behind the ear.

Funny though, it landed in almost the exact same place as the one that Fury knocked Wilder down with in the first fight. You know, that punch that made you scream from the rooftops for weeks that Fury cheated and knocked Wilder down with an illegal punch.

Like Joe says there's only a few men alive that could take those Wilder punchers. You've only got to see the slow motion of the right hand that did Fury , it sent ripples and waves up and down his body. The pretenders like Whyte , Joshua and Usyk just to name a few would not have beaten the count.
