The guy just went out on his shield, and gave everything he had to win the match. What do you expect him to do, 2 minutes after the fight is over? Throw a party for Fury? Lol hopefully Wilder says the right things going forward, but this whole thing is a non issue.

It's not like he went over to Fury and did something classless. Fury came to him. The guy just fought his heart out and got his ass kicked and wasn't in the mood to talk to and congratulate the guy who dished it out.

Atlas makes a good point about Joshua being too accepting of his loss.

AJ may be that about his losses, but better to be like that and give props to the man who beat you than to make all the ridiculous embarrassing outlandish excuses Wilder did after the 2nd fight. He’s already given excuse #1 after the 3rd - Fury’s weight advantage. Am sure there are more to come.

While I do believe Wilder has been delusional and should have come to terms in the second fight, I think it's a bit much to ask a man who has been brutally KOed to all of a sudden smile and "throw a party" for his conqueror immediately after the fight. He's been beaten, not clear in the head and still holds onto what he had been building his accusational case around. Not like he came into the fight feeling great about Fury. he came into the fight disliking Fury and I can't expect that he's all of a sudden flipped a switch after being concussed like that.

Fury's weight advantage was a major factor in people picking Fury to win and everyone agrees it had a major factor in the fight. I'm not sure that's an excuse as much as a valid reason. He did say he did everything he could and it wasn't good enough, I'm not sure what else people want him to say. He clearly needed to tell himself all those things were true in order to psych himself up to fight again, and he earned most people's respect despite that bs and him not shaking hands.

I watched the podcast Atlas said these things in, and another good point he made is Wilder's terrible left hooks is what got him damaged the most. His trainers should have banned him from ever throwing a left hook because he's terrible at it and leaves himself completely exposed for shots he doesn't even see coming. All the biggest shots he took were a direct result of that, including the final KO punch.

Exposed to what? Some of you sound so damned r e t a r ded it’s a wonder you made it through grade school. Hell maybe you didn’t. He almost made it the distance against arguably the top fighter in the division and that’s somehow classified by you casuals as being “exposed.”
