It always seemed a bad business model to me, when we were told that subscription was the new way to watch boxing. I couldn't see how they would get the numbers required on the subscriptions, and it seems that has been the case. A large chunk of PPV money comes from casuals who are not interested in boxing enough to pay a monthly subscription for crap domestic fights. The only fights those type of people may actually be interested in (AJ fights for example) would have to be on PPV anyway, so there is zero appeal for those people as they don't gain anything.

This is a UK disclaimer first and foremost. 2quid a month was too good to be true. I always said that DAZN USA should match any global price which is fair. $20 a month is too much and not fair when new global prices have emerged. From an ongoing 2quid monthly to lets say 10quid for a PPV on DAZN seems about right. Unfortunately I don't see how DAZN USA pricing will work. Would be nice if Canelo fought in the UK once ffs

DAZN USA not working is not because of the pricing. They needed or need to get rights to one of the major sports leagues. Boxing is a niche sport so you can't just rely on boxing being your #1 subscription seller. In the UK it is different. Boxing is more popular but obviously you will still need rights to other sports leagues. If DAZN can purchase BT Sports in the UK, they will just be fine.

Whyte vs Ruiz on PPV is perfectly fine. I'm sure eventually they will try to put Benn on PPV to see if they have something there with him or not. And again, if they end up signing Joshua, then his fights were going to be on PPV regardless.

not limited to one colour...i see it in a lot of black boxing fans aswell as latino.

what it does is, it blacklists crawford/espn ppv cards...because 'he aint wid al'. pbc/al haymon were supposed to be a reaction to how gbp/oscar were fking about with the careers of black boxers in favour for the mexicans.
it hates on black boxers like 'a55 juice' 'dillian shyte' because they aint wid al.

            ldbc, are hood****.

my fav black american boxer in recent memory..was B-Hop. he was a savage, old head...like burr redding from Oz. now kenny in oz was a hoodrat, but kenny was a respectable mofo.
i dont know if you're familiar with the references, so just youtube them if you don't know.
in boardwalk empire, Chalky Whyte was legit, but that other guy, dunn pursley, was a hoodrat...
al haymon is basically dr narcisse and has all the black boxing fans and loads of black boxers under his satanic music industry spell....but only the hood****. the smart ones arent falling for that crap.

I am fine with PPV in Boxing as long as we get the best fights.

DAZN in Australia is pretty wild, I've had an account since it was in free beta testing. They used to have decent content, same as elsewhere I guess.

Now the UK matchroom stuff is on Foxtel/Kayo which is paid cable, so now dazn is basically ak and barak, occasional fights and documentaries on soccer players (WTF?).

The idea behind dazn is decent IMO, execution has been pretty terrible. Matchroom putting their stuff on pay tv here is bizarre.

my point is, chalky wasnt a hoodrat. it isnt about skintone, wealth or how you speak. dunn pursley was the hoodrat. Narcisse controlled the hood**** and idiots in the same way al haymon controls them.
the real negroes like b-hop, crawford, ward etc were not under haymon's circle of influence.
