Seriously the moderators need to kick out alot of these damn paq***uals. They bring nothing to the table for boxing discussion as far as facts. All they bring is tall tales of manny paq like he was Paul Bunyon.

All he said is it sounded like the same type of story when those two sparred. Theres nothing wrong with what he said.

If you go talking **** about how you whooped this guy and whooped that guy, you won't get good sparring ever again. I believe Peterson held his own, I truly do because the only reason his camp said something was to tell the truth about the bull**** coming out of Mayweather camp.

Mayweather is a proud and arrogant fighter, he doesn't want to lose anything he does and I'm sure it was a tightly contested battle and he didn't like it. To say that Peterson would have ran his mouth though is wrong because there are certain unwritten rules in boxing and running your mouth after a heated sparring session is a no no....
i understand from the thread that it was just a chance encounter between floyd and lamont.
there was no pre-agreed sparring to take place.
lamont went to floyd's gym upon the suggestion of rahman.

I'm not sure why this is viewed as a bad thing. It's good for several reasons.

        1. Floyd needs good sparring. He can only get better, get quicker, react quicker, etc. Basically, he can shake off some of that rust.

        2. It'll help Floyd know where he's at. When Leonard was training for Hagler, he got dropped by a young (albeit future champ) Quincy Taylor during sparring. Shocked everyone - but it also forced Leonard to switch up his strategy, realizing he couldn't stand toe to toe and do the things he used to.

Don't see how a tough sparring session could be anything but good.

Why would Barry Hunter go on and on about the 18 vs 14 ounce gloves? PBF's got a fight coming up. Why would anyone risk a cut and millions after postponing it already because of a rib injury? Things like that make it all sound fishy to me. I wish the writer would have asked about that.

Doesn't matter it's just something you don't talk about. You don't go and run your mouth about how you were better than so and so, same way you don't go talking about how good the guy was.

It's the same reason Mayweather doesn't allow cameras in the sparring sessions, it's just and unwritten rule, always has been always will be.

Anyone who doesn't know this hasn't been around the boxing game.

It was before 24/7 began filming I guess. Anthony Peterson fought Arceo in Vegas on 8/15 so I am guessing that the sparring happened the 13th and 14th. I don't believe 24/7 started until a couple of weeks after this altercation.

in regards to the sparring session, it was probably an intense session considering both guys are obviously skilled. Who knows what happened, im sure both fighters benefited from the experience

LOL! Did you really just call someone a **** with that gay ass pic of MJ as your logo

Thanks. Just watched it and it was a clear knockdown. Mayweather clearly was on his way to winning the fight but even your Mayweather Kool Aid can't keep you from recognizing a knockdown when you see one.

                      DC,

I try to communicate with you as an adult, but you revert to childish insults. That's a shame.

Well, it wasn't a knockdown, and wasn't scored as a knockdown. And NSAC forgot to collect your scorecard.
