What exactly happened on that second knockdown? did he get clipped again when Wilder rushed him? were his legs just still gone from the first knockdown? Wilder kind of tied him up and clubbed him in the side of the head from close range right before he dropped but it didnt look like anywhere near enough to put him down.

Wrong.... check the second knockdown again in the 4th the ref stopped the count because wilder was not in a neutral corner

Tyson's future as WBC champion is looking pretty depressing if you ask me, it took him all the help in the world to rob Deontay Wilder of his title and further assistance from crooked refs to accomplish his first successful title defense at 33 years old, and hes still fat.
Tyson's indulgent lifestyle : gluttony, drunkenness, slothfulness and substance abuse are unagreeable to the demands of a world-champion. Its no secret that Fury was spotted with Adrien Broner a few weeks ago leading up to Saul Alvarez vs. Billy Joe Saunders, so it came to me as no surprise to me that he looked like Sally Struthers on steroids for the trilogy with Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder.
I would advise Tyson to vacate the WBC HW title and go back to defending the 'lineal' title, that way he can avoid random drug-testing or any commitment to face highly ranked opponents. This seems like Gypsy-John's plan by recent dismissive remarks regarding WBC mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte.
John Fury, I'm sure has done the math : 4 knockdowns in Tyson's last three fights, two of those were arguably KO's against Deontay Wilder, and a serious eye-injury that nearly took Tyson's sight vs. Otto Wallin. At this rate Tyson will be punch-drunk by next year ; Fury should make good on his promise and retire.Comment

And just to think, Wilder dropped Fury in round 9 in the first fight with a grazing blow to the side/top of his head. He again dropped him in the 12th round....Fury was already out of position when the first hook landed and the second hook practically woke him up on his way to the deck...and he didn't hit his head...so unfortunate for Wilder.
He landed a heavy shot in round 4 this past Saturday and Fury was practically pushed down by him. The second knockdown was a grazing shot behind the head coupled by a push. We saw it on the replay.
Power means nothing if you can't set up the shot and land it with precision. It seems as though he's mainly hit Fury on the upper part of his head, as Fury's done the same with Wilder when he dropped him. We call AJ "chinny" but he's been hit, hurt and dropped by mostly temple shots, if not ALL temple shots.
Wilder's power and knockdowns only proved to be optics in all 3 fights...and those were some damn good, might I add! Wilder may not have won any of the fights but he left his mark (i.e., optics) in the ring...good, bad and indifferent.
As far as the rubber match, we got a glorified 2nd fight with all of the trimmings! I can't complain!Comment

I need a break from this vile place. I may never return. Nobody in America is interested in what Tyson does from this point forward, unless he is fighting Jared Anderson. I hear that Tyson is the -B side vs. Dillian Whyte in the UK.
You mean making sense? Probably.
It took Russell Mora 15 seconds to count to 8. When Mora instructed Wilder to go to the neutral corner, it took Mora a split-second to turn around and resume the count -- it did not take him 5 seconds to give Deontay a command, I shared screen-captured photographs of the sequence from when Russel Mora gives the order to Wilder and when he resumes the count, it was less than 1 second ; almost instantly.
Therefore, the oppositions argument attempting to justify the long-count does not suffice to explain the laps of time.Last edited by 1hourRun; 10-12-2021, 03:29 PM.Comment

The rules are a 10 count & not 10 seconds.

Fury was lucid & awake & reacted to the refs count, not a clock.
Get over it.Comment

After two years of whining about rabbit punches would you like to review the second of your videos?

Any thoughts on the PBC doctor showing up in the ring to give your boy time to reassemble both of his brain cells?
