Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury: I Never Thought 'Oh, This Is Over,' After Two Knockdowns During 4th Round

LAS VEGAS - Tyson Fury purposefully composed himself before he attempted to get up from each of the two fourth-round knockdowns he withstood Saturday night.

Given Fury's recovery from the knockdown in the 12th round of the first fight, why would anybody, let alone Fury himself, doubt his ability to survive the knockdowns of last Saturday?

Thats why I said no to the thousands who said Fury wins but there is a possibility wilder could win with his one punch knockout power. That knockout power don't work on one guy.

We don’t know just how good Fury’s chin is because everyone else has gone to sleep. I hope time will tell because I hope Wilder gets in there with some other great fighters before his career ends!

Both of those are pushes. He wasn't hurt at all.

He was never hurt bad. No doubt that right hand hurt him but I don’t think he ever looked in danger.

Funnily enough after seeing fight one, I never doubted once that Fury would get up at all last Saturday. He looked a bit buzzed, but barely hurt, eyes were always clear.
              The man is a tank.

Tyson's future as WBC champion is looking pretty depressing if you ask me, it took him all the help in the world to rob Deontay Wilder of his title and further assistance from crooked refs to accomplish his first successful title defense at 33 years old, and hes still fat.

Tyson's indulgent lifestyle : gluttony, drunkenness, slothfulness and substance abuse are unagreeable to the demands of a world-champion. Its no secret that Fury was spotted with Adrien Broner a few weeks ago leading up to Saul Alvarez vs. Billy Joe Saunders, so it came to me as no surprise to me that he looked like Sally Struthers on steroids for the trilogy with Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder.

I would advise Tyson to vacate the WBC HW title and go back to defending the 'lineal' title, that way he can avoid random drug-testing or any commitment to face highly ranked opponents. This seems like Gypsy-John's plan by recent dismissive remarks regarding WBC mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte.

John Fury, I'm sure has done the math : 4 knockdowns in Tyson's last three fights, two of those were arguably KO's against Deontay Wilder, and a serious eye-injury that nearly took Tyson's sight vs. Otto Wallin. At this rate Tyson will be punch-drunk by next year ; Fury should make good on his promise and retire.

REMEMBER BRO, this fight was actually won by Deontay Wilder in the 4th round.

That count took FOREVER: That was a 30second 10 count right there. **** BOXING!

It's always funny watching Wilder dance off as he drops Fury...all for it to haunt him when he gets up. He's done it in 2 of the 3 fights and it's backfired! I wish he would stop.
