Why was Loma considered #1 P4P before the Teofimo fight if he lost to Salido, a dude with double digits losses? The eye test, that's why. People that know and understand boxing know that wilder's concussive power could overtake possibly every other HW that's not named Tyson Fury. Brittle hands, always a problem with punchers. As an older man, it was around the late 30s as an NCO when I noticed that injuries were happening more frequently and they were not healing as quickly. Deontay will find this doesn’t improve with age. 36 is around the corner, he has proven to be the second best of this era, had made millions, and cannot beat Fury, and has shown more courage to fight through pain than any fighter today. What more really is there to prove?

Even if I favoured Fury since the very first fight, I must admit Wilder proved to be a warrior with a huge heart. More heart than technique, but good nevertheless.

To be fair he didn’t give a great account of himself. He showed a lot of heart, a lot of power and that he can take a punch. He also showed poor skills, poor stamina and that he had t really learnt that much from the last fight. Plus poor sportsman ship at the end
