Yeah. It's legit. Wilder's team made a stink about Fury's Paffen pro horsehair gloves because the leather looked creased or wrinkled (caused by the malleability of the horsehair and type of leather used). There was nothing wrong with the gloves, but Wilder's team said there was a problem. The commission wouldn't disallow Fury from using those gloves, so to one up Fury, he decided to switch to his old Everlast MX horsehair gloves (which I'm sure looked exactly like Fury's gloves, with the wrinkles in the leather).

So yeah, it's legit. I almost believe that Wilder had been pressured by his team to switch. I can't imagine that he'd believe there was something fishy with Fury's gloves when he's been using the same type of glove in the past, gloves that looked pretty much the same. It's just really dumb, man.

Why was Loma considered #1 P4P before the Teofimo fight if he lost to Salido, a dude with double digits losses? The eye test, that's why. People that know and understand boxing know that wilder's concussive power could overtake possibly every other HW that's not named Tyson Fury. Tyson has the perfect balance of size, boxing skills, power and balls to overcome wilder.

This better not be an excuse for why he lost. It was his own fault.
You are dumber than synthetic wood. Acting like Wilders lone DUMB decision was his glove choice lmfao

Everything about Deontay was dumb. Everything

Bro, that's pretty harsh. He made a great account for himself last night. No shame in losing to Fury.

But then again, you're probably some 38 yr old ****** still living in your mother's basement.

I'm pretty certain those that had Loma P4P#1 did so because of his impressive run/wins over fighters like Salido(we all saw what transpired in that fight) GRJ,Martinez,Marriaga,Walter's,Sosa,Pedraza,Rigo,C ampbell,Linares.....and not because that tried and true "eye test" you're suggesting....but no need for resumes now I see, carry on

Thought wilder shouldve rebuilt after 2nd fight to rebuilt confidence get legit practice and develop better said hughie fury then wyte before title shot. Now if wilder continues is fight usyk aj loser then fight a top 5 or paper joyce then title retire fight if not retire already. Fury fight whyte get another top 10 victory, thatd be 3 then usyk aj winner if win thats 4 top 10 opps n retired undefeated 6 defenses ect a top 10 heavyweight atg

Wilder lost 2nd fight because he was unprepared - didnt know Fury would fight coming forward.

Wilder selected a trainer with zero experience

Wilder tried to come in heavy and meet the much larger man in power - big mistake

                      Wilder had no stamina

Wilder trained zero amount to fight backwards - despite knowing he would need it in this fight

Wilder bulked up instead of increasing speed

Wilder got legitimately SLEPT and still made excuses

Just about EVERY decision Deontay made was terrible and incorrect

                      His ending was FITTING
