This fight proves both Wilder and Breland right - Wilder had more to give probably in fight 2, but at what cost. Great fight tonight. Sad to see a few people still trashing Wilder, but AJ fans are dumb as sh.it so what do you expect.

Not sure if he will be the same fighter after this but hopefully if he isn't, he gets out pretty quickly before he takes serious damage. Not a good idea to take a ton of punches from 240+ pound men.

No he will never be the same and its a shame because he looked much improved under Scott.

Does Wilder even want to continue at this point though? To fight whom?
        Joshua?

I don’t think he responds as well to Fury to being hit

Deontay has a shot as long as the opponent provides space for his right hand

How much did this take out of Fury?

Just because fury was successful doesn't mean others can do the same. Fury is his own man and a special talent. Wilder is still a huge threat. That can't go away.

Wilder’s problems are as much mental as the physical. His physical beatings looked worse than they really were because he was gassed out. Mentally he can’t handle these losses. Oliver McCall 2.0.

                He's done.

He's clearly showing signs of ageing. He didn't have the same speed and explosiveness that he had a few years ago which is hardly surprising given his age.

Retire. He's made enough money and done well for himself

LOL what's he going to do? fight fury until fury inevitably kills him! That bomb is overrated and always has been! I mean that can stiverne went the distance with wilder! wilder sure looked dangerous as he crumpled to the canvas tonight HAHAHAHA!!!

This fight actually could help Wilder mentally. Unlike the 2nd fight, he gave it his all, trained seriously for a long time and made sure to the best of his ability Fury had no untoward advantages. I think this fight actually can finally give Wilder closure. Fury was just the better man. What hurts you mentally is when you fail without trying your best. But when you lose after knowing you gave your absolute best in a completely fair competition, defeat is a lot easier to accept and move on from.

                      Not much.

he took one serious big shot in the fight.
