No he wont be the same. Im an old man by most of your standards. Ive been watching boxing a long time so Ive had decades to see my favorite fighters from the past go from articulate, intelligent men to people you cant understand. Terry Norris comes to mind, Rid**** Bowe, James Toney off the top of my head. Wilder will carry the cost of this fight for the rest of his life and so will Fury. Neither one of them left the ring tonight same men they were.

He might look the same on the outside but he won’t be the same mentally. He knows with certainty now that he’s not the best heavyweight. It will take some serious mental gymnastics to avoid the fact that he was again beaten by Fury. If he can somehow convince himself that there were reasons beyond his control that made him lose, then he might still be mentally and emotionally viable as a fighter. Physically he will probably have declined too because that was an absolute s h i t kicking.

No. Wilder left a part of himself in that ring tonight.

But there's only one Tyson Fury. There's no other heavyweight capable of doing that to Deontay.

I'm not convinced either guy every really wanted that fight, think Joshua and Wilder were both a bit scared of each other and while they may say they want it, I'm not sure I believe it. I really think Joshua retires if he loses to Usyk again, don't see him sticking around for the long haul. Does Wilder want to fight B level PBC HW's now? Who knows? But that is probably what is on deck if he continues.

Nope. The B level heavyweights are bums. There is no way Wilder doesn't catch someone like Whyte fighting from range.

I said after second fight Wilder should never fight Fury again.

I was right. Wilder should have let Fury fight Kabayel for stay busy fight and than Joshua or Whyte or whoever.

Fury just had his number and Wilder took another big loss 20 months later.

Wilder left everything in the ring tonight. He'll still be dangerous, but I don't think he'll be the same after this.

He should look for a payday like AJ, then retire. Good luck getting AJ in the ring though.

No, not mentally or physically. Hes on the wrong side of 35 and absorbed a **** ton of punishment in this fight and the one before that. Honestly that was the kind of sustained brain trauma that causes lasting damage. i hope he'll be fine.

He entered the ring as the second best HW of all time, and left the ring as the second best HW of all time. He'll be back to wipe out the likes of Joshua and Usyk soon enough. Nash out.

He gave a good solid effort. But he took an utter beating.

It was one of them beats and efforts that he will not be the same. He put his heart and soul into this fight and still got rag dolled in the end.

I praise his effort but his game planned was ****ed. I think if he came in lighter and not so bulky he could have had a better shot.

I think at this point he should retire. Or fight AJ, make some good money and retire. He will never beat Fury.
