Fury vs Wilder 3 was the best fight of all time

It was exciting at several points, but it was nowhere near the best fight. It was extremely one sided except for rounds 1 and 4, when Fury got too comfortable. Besides that, it was a beatdown. Joshua-Wlad was better than this one - it had a higher level of excitement and was much more evenly matched.

I still hold Benn vs McClellan as the atg fight I have seen mainly because the whole atmosphere that night and the brutality of it all and both men ending up in hospital after going toe to toe sadly one never recovering
Tonight's fight was one of the best for a long long time I thought all the bs from wilder and his fans was ridiculous after the 2nd fight but he showed guts tonight Fury was a monster in there that kept coming for him and still wilder was dangerous when out on his feet you never knew at any moment who was about to go down definitely a heavyweight classicLast edited by davef; 10-10-2021, 12:14 AM.

Comparing it to Pac-Jmm? Calm down peeps, it was a good fight not great. The fight was way too sloppy for my taste and they both gassed by the 5th round, especially Wilder.

And you knew he couldn't do it again. All his power was drained. He was flailing around with no power at all left.
Credit to Wilder for sticking in there. And credit to Fury for standing back in that first round and figuring Wilder out so quickly. But it wasn't close. The trilogy never was close. Fury was much the better man at every single stage of this trilogy.

Brilliant fight. People rave about Lewis vs Vitali, this was 10 times better. The combined ability and power on display, Wilder's great start, then Fury seeming like he's going to get Wilder out early, then Fury is down from massive shots twice, seemingly out, and yet again shows the most unreal powers of recovery. Wilder's heart to stick in there and whilst Fury was winning all the later rounds, the constant reminders coming back from Wilder kept the fight at top tier. Best fight I have seen since Pac vs Marquez 4, but too many people will be too bitter to admit a modern HW fight as a classic. Nash out.
