Vitali beat up Lewis and scared him into retirement. That's a FACT.

I lost a lot of respect for Lewis when he retired like a scared coward.
He may have taken the fight on two weeks notice, but you forget that Vitali is a superior white athlete and should've dominated and destroyed that glass-chinned fraud.

I think Bernard Hopkins scared JOE C into retirement, but that's besides the point.

And I don't think you had respect for Lewis in the first place, since he's black.. You just hated him more. It's actually the perfect cherry on top of a wonderful career, he erased any doubt that the Klits could be compared with him.

No stamina. It killed me to watch him pretty much dominate froch only to lose in the end.

At least, Taylor became a world champion, Wince (yes, Wince) Carter never did.

However, I tend to ask myself this question alot and I haven't gotten THE answer to it. So I'm going to ask you all...WHAT WENT WRONG WITH JERMAIN TAYLOR???

In hindsight I think that those two fights with Bernard took alot out of him...but let me know how ya'll feel.
IMO, Ozell Nelson can't train spit to fall and is nothing but a "Yes Man" to Jermain. Pat Burns had the key to motivate and invigorate JT. JT has not been the same since he fired Burns.

If Taylor would improve his stamina (that's if he could), and use his head a little more in fights, he would defiantly be on the top 5 list for P4P.

Allan Green made a good point in an article I read on here a while ago - he said Taylor does train hard but can't relax in the ring and that's the root cause of his stamina problem since that greatly enhances fatigue.
