Can Manny Pacquiao Surpass Sugar Ray Leonard in the ATG List?

lets say he beats cotto then beats floyd, as a pac fan i still cant see him getting a better place in the ATG list. sugar ray beat everyone he needs to beat. benitez, duran, hearns, and hagler. skill wise, sugar ray is also better. pac maybe able to match up srl's resume if he beats mosley

Depends where Pacs opponents end their careers, but I doubt it happens. Leonard beat 4 fighters now considered to be among the 50 or 60 greatest fighters of all time. In the case of Duran a top 10 ATG. I just don't see Pac surpassing that at this point in his career, but who knows.

thats what i said. he may need to beat shane to get close to sugar ray though i still think that he wont be able to surpass him

i mean things were different when ray leonard was around,and the guys he beat in ATG terms would pretty much be impossible too match nowadays

if pac were to be placed anywhere near leonard you would have to place his opponents pretty high up also
i mean fighting guys like diaz or even hatton arent going to get you to atg status no matter how weight divisions you fought in
