Because that's what he was "sentenced" for.... I thought that was pretty self explanatory.
Of course Fury isn't the only one who's battled depression and drug use but the main killer of young men is Suicide and it's rarely ever spoken about and men's issue in general for that matter and who cares if you think him facing Foreman or Frazier is more significant.
The history books will say Wilder has the more significant reign then either of them, more defences and was one of the most prolific punchers in his era and the foreman fight was further along in Ali's comeback then Fury currently is.
Fury might go for undisputed next assuming he wins tomorrow so if we're comparing like for like they'll of achieved almost exactly the same if that happens but Fury was for all intent and purposes robbed in the 1st fight with Wilder.

Fury, Wilder and Joshua are all all-time greats right now 'Not very high all-time greats, but since Kiltschko's retirement? It has constantly been these three fighters who have been the dominant force. Joshua has been beaten by Ruiz Junior, but won the rematch 'And he will most likely win against Usyk the in the rematch'.

Wilder could beat Fury tonight, and if that happens 'There could well be a fourth fight, especially if it is a action packed fight'.
