He'll go down in history as one of the all time greats if he retires undefeated and unifies and defends the titles.

Right now it's too early to say, but in terms of his boxing ability and defence alone he's right up there with the best of them. All he needs now is a better resume of beaten opponents, and that will come.

He also has the best comeback story in boxing history so far too, shame that it was partially ruined by idiot judges who may or may not have been on the take for that first fight against Wilder though.

How does “lazy” fit in this picture?!? Overconfident maybe, but lazy? Wilder won’t conquer “himself from within” because he’s a true champion that has defended his title for years! He never gave up when defending his title against your wild ass hero, he’s also found endless excuses (which I don’t approve of) to support his never die attitude…. I guess you’re the condescending type like your mauling hero that’s incorporated MMA to his arsenal to support his take on boxing.

He didn't go to prison? and he wasn't the only one who was anti Vietnam of course his stance had a bit more significance but that's by the by.
Both of them were out for years both of them had "issues" then had two comes back fights and fought for the belt

Not a fan of Wilder by a long shot and this man's prediction on the fight outcome will prove right, but I think its really sad when ex-pros of any sport centre themselves in relation to current sporting events because it tells me they haven't let go of the past. Decent ex-sportsman should absolutely be listened to for their experience, but making it about yourself is just narcissism.

Carl Froch does it. David Haye does it a LOT.

Yeah, that line really clanged for me, showing Lewis is unable to be an impartial observer in his analysis. His ego has to be a part of it.

It's apt to compare it to the late, great Emanuel Steward, since the spirit of Kronk touches so much of this, who was a great commentator as well as a great trainer. He was able to impartially offer his thoughts on both fighters when watching a fight.

His career isn't destroyed if he loses to Fury again, he's entertaining, he can punch and if he get's better at disguising the back hand and just jabs and feints a bit more he's a real threat to EVERYONE in the division.
