I've been seeing things in several boxers that leads me to think something is not right with them. With Teofimo being one of them, watched a couple interviews with him last night & I'm surprised I didn't run across this. I think people forget these people take punches to the head for a living. Something isn't right with him & I think it's pretty clear to see..

It's all mental and psychological. He doesn't go about his business the way he should. He's always on the defensive and getting called out and so he feels he always needs to defend himself. It's the same with guys like Hamed and Broner. Putting up that fake persona or that wanna-be persona will destroy you.I've been seeing things in several boxers that leads me to think something is not right with them. I would think that his dad acting a damn fool does not help this young man’s mental health. Sr lives vicariously through Jr, but maybe that is a variable that needs to change. I don’t see the problem with Teo maybe venturing out to get a life coach, with sports psychology background and possibly another trainer brought in to help until Teo sees that his dad may be his poison. If this is true then I feel for him, but is it just marketing? Tyson Fury grew his brand a lot by going on all the talk shows to talk about his battle with mental health. These guys promote so much trash, why would I believe them about anything? If they're willing to market other trash, like licking people's blood, then who says using this as a marketing tool is beneath them either?Last edited by Boxing Logic; 10-07-2021, 12:36 PM.Comment
