Mosley Eyes Clottey, Conte Case Moves Forward

Mosley is just stating what his lawyers are telling him to say at this point.

Mosley is not a fool and is not that gullable that he would pay big cash for vitamins that he had to travel across country to get. Furthermore, Mosley shipped the so-called vitamins home, via Fedex so that he wouldn't get caught transporting them across county lines.

This is going to bite Mosley in the Azz - because he didn't come clean from the onset. IF, IF Mosley honestly thought they were vitamins and LEGAL, then why didn't he make it public that he was taking The Clear & Cream plus EPO, Prior to the Balco investigation.

Why didn't Mosley state for all the world to hear post the DLH fight, "I would like to thank Balco Inc. and Conte for the wonderfull vitamins that gave me the extra edge to beat DLH a second time".

Total BS.

I like Mosley as a fighter ... but I lost alot of respect for him as a result of this Balco crap.

I'm a fan of Mosley, but i have never been biased to the point where i start looking like Ch@mp is with his PR boxers. But I will say this, Mosley is currently innocent until proven guilty. When he is proven guilty then i will say that Shane is a Cheater and a liar.

I don't know his exact situation, i'm not him, i'm not Conte, I wasn't there to see Mosley buy or take illegal/banned drugs, I'm not a judge to judge that Mosley KNEW what he was taking and that he IS lying about not knowing. So i can't really say anything. I'll leave that to the rest of you posters who DO know what's going on, OR are ASSUMING that he IS lying by, 1. Putting different pieces that seem shady, together and or 2. Just straight up judging to look like Sherlock JR....no offense to anyone though...

I can clearly understand your position ... but as a Boxing fan first as well as a Mosley fan - I've been following this case since it broke the news cycle years ago. And my statements are based on what was released by the courts to the public.

I agree that no one but the guy behind the bench should pass final judgment ... but serious fans of the sport of boxing should take an active interest in these violations. And formulate opinions based on the actual released testimony ...... and IMHO .... Something was very fishy with Mosleys statements and his actions.

Marion Jones lost all her Gold medals, plus went to jail as a result of her involvement with Balco. Mosley, IF FOUND GUILTY, should also pay a price. Otherwise where is the justice??????

Even though the article mentioned Shane's alleged Balco involvement, I'd rather talk about the fight with Clottey. I hope Mosley destroys this cat.

mosley just needs to get a fight and stop daydreamin about a pac fight cause it aint lookin like he's gonna get one because pac has cotto and after he beats cotto he's most likely gonna get a fight with pbf once pbf takes care of marquez then if mosley can keep active and get a couple more good names under his belt then he might be able to get the loser of pbf vs pac but hey thats just my opinion

I don't particularly dislike Clottey, but I'm not a fan of the guy either. When the going gets tough, he crumbles and doesn't perform up to standards. He's also a sore loser even though I thought he had a good case of beating Cotto. I am one of those people that think his hand injury against Margarito was somewhat of a hoax.

I'm not totally sure why, even though I definitely think Mosely knowingly cheated, I still want him to beat Clottey.

I guess it's because I'm really intrigued by the possible matchup of Mayweather-Mosley (even though I don't even think it'll be that exciting of a fight).

Whoever wins it'll be a great fight because it's a must win fight for both. And whoever the loser is should fight and wipe the floor with Berto.

Honestly i think that this is a bad fight for Mosley beacause no one looks good against Clottey that is until the championship rounds when Clottey folds. I like this fight for 2 reasons if mosley looses then i won't hear him whine anymore about him being ducked and if Clottey looses then i don't have to see his boring style of fighting the looser won't get another shot at a title.

Im glad Mosley called you to tell you that he never tested positive for steriods. This should end all debates about Mosley being on steriods. Urine tests dont lie and Mosley never lied about not knowing what he was taking before the Dela Hoya II fight. Mosley stops Clottey just as he stopped Margarito, Mayorga, and Vargas. You cannot stand in front of Mosley and not expect to be knocked out. Clotteys style is another perfect matchup that fits Mosleys style perfectly. With his handspeed and punching power, Clottey should be stopped in the championship rounds.
