I guess the problem with this kind of lawsuit is they could argue the corruption is part of what allowed him to reach the final anyway, in reality it’s not, he won his fights but the point stands in a legal case. The case would implicate every fight in the competition because it’s organised corruption, so it’s almost impossible to legally prove that the corruption prevented his gold, or even aided his chances on getting a silver.
So, I don’t see any retrospective changing of the medals or anything like that, sadly.
