if AJ had the blueprint to beat Usyk, why didnt he use it this fight? Is hearns saying his fighter threw the fight to setup a rematch?
In AJ's words after the fight: "You want to go again. I know how to beat you."
I suppose it's always about ego with AJ. He tried to box Usyk, so if he won, he would say he outboxed so-called master boxer. If he lose there is always: "Look how many more fights he have, amateur, pro. I am still learning on the job. I started boxing just few years ago." Lucky, he always has two chances to win against one opponent.

Even his most ardent and honest fans recognize that being lovable does not translate to the best.. The handwriting has been on the wall for awhile. His beard is faulty combined with stamina issues and an inability to focus under continued pressure. Usyk will only improve his game. He will be four chess moves ahead of AJ when the bell sounds for Round 13.

I can't believe no one else is seeing this but because of the way the fight ended with aj on the ropes. He had an epiphany right after that he will use rope-a-dope to beat usyk. That's why he said I know how to beat you now and had fast eddie preaching nonstop about wrong gameplan. I guarantee you he is in the gym right now working on it. The new rope-a-dope king.

I totally agree with you. It's strange. AJ must stop being a nice guy but a badass warrior in the ring as he used to be.

Bruno was more popular to, even after Lennox smashed him in a great fight.

Aj has been getting away with fighting to many shot old men for to long that stood static in front of him & made him look good. He's now lost 2 out of 4 & doesn't deserve a shot at the belts.
It's no coincidence the 2 losses came from boxer's of his own generation.
Anyone giving Aj credit for beating 38-41 year olds with only 4-5 good rounds in them aren't boxing or sport's fans they're Aj fans.
The rediculous thing now is Aj can become 3 times! In just 5 fight's, It's rediculous. Nobody else is allowed to play.
All the greats took the L & got back in line. But not contract clause.

My boy was chatting a lot of nonsense . his eyes closed totally in the ninth, no its ok........ i'm going to trust the process wtf. what's he going on about? listen i cant tell a man how to behave after a loss but his answers didn't fIll me with confidence.
Joshua, the man, is something to be proud of. Joshua, the boxer, is suspect! His skill is below that of Tyson Fury, and way below that of Lennox Lewis, so I guess Bruno would be a good comparison. Maybe Razor Ruddock? Who you got, Ajagba or Sanchez?

AJ is number 1 way out on his own..Joyce is 2. The rest are quite a long way behind in any order

For those who suggest that AJ should be more aggressive in the rematch need to consider two things. If such a strategy doesn´t work and Mr Usyk is still in there after the first 5 rounds, then he will be knackered and there for the taking in the later rounds. I think it is also a mental thing with AJ, he has been knocked out before, and if he opens up, he could get tagged again like he did with Mr Ruiz. But perhaps his only hope is to throw the kitchen sink at him, and hope for the best! As he´s not going to outbox Mr Usyk even if he fought him ten times!
