Usyk is fast becoming an overrated boxer on this forum?

This is fighting. If you dare to be great, you dare to do what the ultimate majority of mankind WILL NOT do. When you **** up serving someone their meal at the restaurant you work in, you can fix that pretty quick and not many will notice. If you **** up in the ring... the result could be permanent. Too many of you could never understand the mindset of a fighter and you are shackled into this "new-era" athlete mentality. I hope you can escape the chains one day and maybe dare to be great.

    Sincerely.

Oh I have no problem with the sweet science I enjoy it very much, my favourite fighter is Floyd. But this is the heavyweight division, a special division I want to see a heavyweight destroyer here! And even if Usyk gets lucky and by some miracle wins the rematch on points both Fury or Wilder lay him out cold.. I see no patch to undisputed.. When Evander moved up at least he was knocking guys out he was exciting.
With the rematch - he and Hearn would get paid twice what they made from this fight. It’s started looking glaring the both of them are running a ponzi at this point. Else why would he sign a life contract on the eve of the fight?

The more you watch the fight - the more you see that Usyk didn’t do anything extraordinary in the fight. Every time he threw anything - he put his lead foot on the outside of AJ’s lead foot and it was predictable all night. He also leaned in to throw his shots which were predictable after the first rd and didn’t get punished at all for it.

AJ had his jab out there all night with 4inch advantage but kept pawing it. And every time he threw his right - he didn’t throw it with bad intentions, he lazily pushed it with no pop like he was told not to hurt Usyk, lol.

All those guys were in difficult fights.

But most of you here are acting like Usyk didn’t get touched by a weird guy who came there for selfies. So why does his face look marked up like that (it’s still marked up)? Which one is it?

I think its more he has been underrated for the longest time.
He beats monsters like Gassiev in a shutout, beats a really top notch CW in Breidis in a FOTY candidate among all the others like Hunter who we've seen blossom into a solid HW and he is only just getting his props now really.

People just wanted to believe the CW division was weak when it was possibly the strongest division in the entire sport and certainly the strongest its ever been.

All fans wanted to do was nitpick and overanalyse Chisora winning 3 rounds in a matchbox.
A guy like Chisora would likely maul just about anybody in a ring that size. They was basically fighting in my damn kitchen.

Careful. You might offend some people with those facts.

It shouldn't take him beating AJ for everyone to realise Usyk is an excellent fighter.

Unlike most in the sport he even has the resume to back it. He's one of those fighters where you don't need to know or understand the sport to instantly recognise he is a special fighter.

OP still coping, making numerous threads about "overrated" HWs who are clearly better than his stiff robot. Acceptance is part of the healing process, hope you get there soon
