Is Tyson Fury the most overrated boxer?

I just don’t get what people are seeing. When people say Usyk or Loma or Floyd mayweather is a great boxer I can see it, the angles, the speed, the movement.

when I watch Tyson fury, I just see a clumsy dude. When he throws punches they just look clumsy. He just looks clumsy when he’s in the ring. I just don’t get it. What are you guys seeing?

He is pretty successful for a clumsy dude. That is what I see.

Over rated yes. The most over rated probably not. He has as they say in the business an awkward style. In terms of what he does...Floyd was the master of the shoulder roll...Fury probably the master of the feint. His so called "herky jerkey" style always keeps his opponents guessing and in check...making them hesitant and more defensive minded. Factor in the weight behind his punches...which are heavy more than powerful....and he has the style to fight without expending much energy whilst racking up rounds with minimal output. That's intelligent ringcraft I suppose.

clumsy dude! What a fool. He isn't great because of his size, he is great because he has attributes that someone his size should not have. Outstanding agility and speed, incredible versatility and shot selection, very good power, he is, without a doubt, the best and hardest to beat boxer in his prime, that I have seen in 31 years of watching boxing. Take your agenda, and your bias, and stick it up your ass, Kronk is the GOAT. And Loma! The man recently lost nearly every round vs Teo!!! Nash out.

Hes probably the best current HW overall (although tbf thats mostly going on the eye test and **** he did before he "retired") but yes the hype has far outpaced the actual achievements. I think with his mental/discipline issues and the way people have put him on a pedestal as some ATG master boxer hes probably going to have a major fall from grace soon. As sloppy and one dimensional as Wilder is, rematching someone that hits that hard this many times is just tempting fate.

Kinda felt that way too till I watched his rematch with Chisora. Chisora may not be an atg but he’s a tough out. Fury made it look incredibly easy that night. Ever since that night I’ve seen him in a new light.

you're mistaken his awkwardness for being clumsy, for a giant of a man he's very fluid, compared to a stiff like Joshua. I listened to an Emmanuel Stewart interview and he says once HWs get over a certain height, they lose coordination, that's why Lewis was so great, he was still fluid at his size. With his size and awkwardness he can compete in any HW era. In regards to his chin, he can get knocked down by a CW (Cunningham), but his recovery is phenomenal. After getting laid out by a Wilder shot, he got up but he didn't just go on survival mode and hug, he actually went on the attack. His glaring weakness is his lack of power for his size and yeah his record is less than stellar. If he can be motivated and lay off the crack, he should be unbeatable in this weak HW era.

He's the most skilled in this current crop of HW's but that's not saying a whole lot.

I do feel he's pretty damn overrated though. He moves well for an ogre ...okay cool.

His punching style is pretty slappy at times and he's not some master defence specialist like Floyd.

He's hit the canvas only one time less than chinny Joshua.

Wilder, as we all know is also a bit chinny and only has one move, so beating him ain't that impressive to me.

The stare off with Wlad was the worst HW title fight in a long time...also Wlad reigned over an even worse era of HW's...

                  Hasn't defended one belt.

                  Hés overrated

                  All three of them are
