    It’s neither here nor there.

He gets credit for the win because Lacy was Top 5, right or wrong.

But there’s a limit to that credit because he’s garbage. We know he’s garbage and he literally has never beaten a ranked fighter in his career.

Some fighters reputations get better with time. His has got worse.

That's because people have had the benefit of passing years to assess his totally abysmal record of title defences against bums and cherry-pick wins over faded legends like Bhop and the ghost of RJJ

Not even in the top 150 boxers of all-time let alone top 15, he was basically a glorified BJS.

Edit they have him #6 all time
Cmon man his name is Calslappy

He definitely doesn't deserve to be in the top 15 of all time

lacy was the definition of a hype job

        Eubank was way past it

        Jones Was too

Hopkins fight was pretty close some considered it a robbery

Kessler was his best win but hardly steller

The rest of his wins were domestic

        Slappy had a padded record

His slap jit zu was original and brought some levity to otherwise boring fights.

Hopkins didn't do enough to win the fight and 116-111 was the correct card.

I thought calzaghe won back when i originally watched it. But it still wasnt a satisfying win for me. Calzaghe won on activity against an older fighter. hopkins landed the bigger cleaner shots and had a knockdown. but still gave away rounds from very low output. Not unlike his two fights with taylor when he was doing better in some exchanges just way too inactive and then he would always cry at the end of the fight saying he was robbed. Calzghe cant bust a g**** and hops has a solid jaw, he should have let his hands go. We saw in the pavlik fight he actually did have stamina when he wanted to. Thats on his fault for thinking judges would just give it to him if he lands 10 shots a round.

He avoided prime jones. And i dont want to hear people say oh but roy was at 175. Its still a duck, when your division is chit and there is nothign going on then he made the decision to avoid the bigger fight at 175. He certainly didnt mind going to 175 after roy was shot
