What you still seem not to understand is that I was NOT justifying Tyson's defeats in my first post. I am well aware of the reasons behind those defeats.
My point was, he WASN'T a quitter like most Tyson haters (and, surprisingly, even some experts) keep saying. Tyson had limits like any other fighter, lost fair and square several times as you just said, but he NEVER quit except in his very last fight against McBride.
Also, the fact that people keep mentioning Tyson's fights against Lewis, Danny Williams and McBride as a proof of his inability is utterly ridiculous. Tyson was a shell in his final years, not only the shell of the fighter he used to be, he was the shell of a man. Drugs, alcohol, bankruptcy. Do we judge Sugar Ray Robinson by the final part of his career, when he was losing against bums?
