Ali is the Greatest but Usyk is the New Ali.

Fury moves well for a very big man, but he certainly doesn't have anywhere near Usyk's skill level and nothing like his movement. This is the myth of Fury. He's not exceptionally skilled, he's exceptionally skilled for such a huge man.
What Usyk did at 220 pounds was phenomenal. Bouncing, moving, head all over the place. In, out, shot selection, ring control, stamina, hand speed. At one point he threw a lightning fast double left hook. You'd have to go back to Tyson or Jones to find heavyweights capable of that kind of hand speed in big fights.
That was an incredible display.
I remember someone posting a while back that they didn't see how there'd be a heavyweight champion at less than about 240 and 6'5". These things happen in cycles. Good big men get beaten by good bigger men, until they start getting too big, then a highly skilled smaller man resets the system.
It's getting to take something special to beat the Usyk we saw this weekend. They won't outbox him.
The only shame is that he's already passing his prime.Comment

You understand what made Ali a legend is what he did OUT OF THE RING not in it. Let me guess you have never read a book and your under 30.This past weekends fight with Usyk utterly dominating the Hulk of boxing AJ Joshua tells me Ali would have dominated vs this mammoth heavyweights of today.
Usyk who’s size is similar to Ali and with his boxing skills being able to dominate AJ shows me Ali could have and would have done the same to these behemoths of today.
I never saw Usyk fight much before Saturday but he made me a legit fan me. He was overly impressive. I love his weird and eccentric personality, his humbleness, and his skillful killer ways in the ring. He’s the legit real deal at heavyweight and the only one right now to possibly beat him is Fury. That fight will be a heavyweight high level chess match. Usyk has the mentality to overcome the size disadvantage, but Fury should win.
I love Usyk.Comment
