Uysk is not known as a big puncher and Joshua was reacting badly when he was hit flush by the straight left.

I think even a Wilder glancing blow will KO Joshua.

Fury will completely whitewash Joshua i struggle to see him winning a round.

      Yes.

Sorry, he is chinny, maybe he's not as bad as Amir Khan but it's not far off, he was getting smoked by a cruiserweight with no power, and he made Andy Ruiz look like prime Mike Tyson.

      His chin is no good.

He also folds mentally and freezes up. In the opening rounds it was odd, he was standing there in the center of the ring while usyk was circling him, never seen anything really like it, like his mind wasnt able to handle two things at once, his foot movement just froze and he was focused solely on Usyk's movement and trying to counter or whatever and forgot to even try to move around the ring too.

They will have to match him up against a real bum next to get his confidence back, maybe even pay the guy some side money to dive. The blueprint is out there to beat him, next guy is just going to try to get in his head and put big pressure on him opening rounds.
His confidence is absoloutley shot to bits, a few years back he wouldn't get this paralysis analysis and would just charge in throwing the kitchen sink with the confidence that if even one of his shots landed it'd be game over.

He gave Usyk far far far too much respect, he did not go in that ring to be the hammer, his attitude should have been yes, great lovely fancy feet you have there Usyk but it isn't going to save you because I'm going to run you over like a train.

That should have been his attitude, no respect, Chisora and Bellew did better because they gave him no respect, yes they both lost but they also both had far more success than AJ and both said he could finish what they couldn't because he's African hercules.

        Waaaaaay too much respect.

He's Amir Khan but with 100lb of muscle that helps him take shots better. People underestimate how much conditioning and neck strength help take shots.

Usyk hit A.J very solid ,Usyk is a powerful puncher if he keeps hitting you in the same spot ask Tony Bellew . Usyk almost had Chisora out of there early to ,A.J took the shots well I thought besides the last round . It was a close fight I thought the the last judge who scored it 115/113 had it right . Usyks speed was impressive,I think speed factor also comes into play hitting A.J at angles were also part of it because it was an element of surprise.

I’m an AJ fan but I can’t see how anyone could score it close as 115/113, he had a couple of good rounds at best.
Usyk isn’t a puncher at heavyweight, any Boxer hitting you cleanly repetitively will cause you problems

I can almost guarantee that I can find a post a few days earlier with this dumbass saying the complete opposite.

Wait, people are saying the 115/113 card was the more accurate? Ridiculous. AJ won about 3 rounds, 4 max. He was competitive in most rounds but was losing them. I think I gave him 5, 6 and 8 with 4 being a swing round. That's it. He didn't win a round from 9 onwards, even AJ fan's biggest hero Hearn said he didn't win a round after the 8th. Fanboys need to get over it. He lost convincingly and there'll be a rematch soon, if you're struggling to cope there's still some hope in him having a better game plan in the 2nd fight.

I've seen people on here complain that a robbery didn't take place and question why the judges didn't 'help' AJ and grant him a draw. Fanboys are the ****ing worst thing about this sport.

I think it has a lot to do with his defensive technique, or lack thereof. He stands up very straight, pulls back from punches and doesn't tuck his chin well or carry his guard all that high. Plus he has a bit of a funny shaped head, he's got quite a big chin that's quite a big target. Obviously he's not packing granite but we've also seen him get hurt or knocked down by big hitters like Whyte and Klitschko and then rally to win so I don't think he's china either. His chin's probably just average overall, but his defensive flaws exacerbate the issues.

I gave AJ R5,6, and 8, really couldn't make a case for him in any other round. Nash out.
