Stylistically Usyk is all wrong for Canelo. His footwork, angles, jerking head movement are key to dealing with Canelo who is a counter puncher at heart. The Smith and Saunders fight(while Canelo beat them up bad), showed that Canelo likes to reset a lot when he gets hit which Usyk can exploit. Canelo's body work would really be his only advantage as Usyk(like most eastern european fighters), don't take body shots well

It wouldn't be a 1 sided shut out but that would be a monumental task to ask of Canelo considering his height and reach. Not to mention gaining that much weight would be basically career suicide for Canelo even if he did manage to win the fight. RJJ was great anwe all saw what happened to him after moving up that far then trying to shed all that muscle mass. His punch resistance was gone.

Just stating my opinion on a public thread.
you cannot gain muscle mass after mid 20's unless you are juicing and jones got caught. how idiots believe you can just throw on 25 lbs of muscle at will whenever you feel like it at any age

At the very least BUT its not like Saunders get destroyed in that fight. He gave Canelo a good fight and revealed the same issues he's had since the Mayweather fight, when his opponent confuses him/when his opponent commits with a good jab, he hesitates/has to reset. But no one these days is good enough to fully do it(Credit it to Canelo for that though)

I support this fight 100%. Usyk himself said, "size doesn't matter" and he showed it last night.

We can't be hypocrites now and say Canelo has no chance. Let these great warriors prove it in the ring.

canelo is a changed fighter since 2nd ggg fight.

he will actively press a boxer as he showed with Saunders and GGG in the 2nd fight.

it’s much harder to outbox him now
