The rest of what you said is ridiculous though. Callum Smith doesn't hit harder than Usyk. But again, it doesn't matter how hard anyone hits if they don't throw real punches. Kovalev's jab supposedly staggered Andre Ward and other real light heavyweights. Ward is bigger and much stronger than Canelo. Based on that, Kovalev should have been able to KO or at least KD Canelo with just his jab, which given Canelo's susceptibility to supposedly getting hit with jabs combined with Kovalev's fantastic accuracy with his supposed jabs should have been able to "land" all night vs the smaller man with shorter reach. Instead even his power "punches" did nothing when they "landed."
So by the same logic, Canelo should be able to beat anyone, even heavyweights, and punching power should be irrelevant.
