Lol at "went to 9 different fighters hometown"

Does that make Glen "The Road Warrior" Johnson the GOAT?

I can create a record for the greatest 18-0 fighter right now.

It's not about that, it's about when you decide to hang up the gloves, what did you accomplish. Whether it's prime or out of prime. All of it gets factored in

If not, we'd be having guy's retire for being the greatest fighter to be 10-0 in the history of boxing. Self proclaimed of course

I can't think of anybody to achieve so much in their first 19 fights. With Rigo and Loma they might have done similar if only they turned pro sooner. Obviously every fighter is different and Usyk is very talented but in general it suggests the top amateurs should step up a bit quicker after turning pro and not risk stagnating or learning bad habits vs too many C level opponents. Josh Taylor recently unified in 18 fights as well which isn't as great as Usyk but still impressive.

Probably not . . this win has catapulted him into ATG status.

Teofimo would have to move up to welterweight and beat Crawford and Spence to even be comparable.

Fernando Vargas beat Winky Wright and Ike Quartey in the same time period and became the youngest super welterweight champion of all time.

I think that’s way more impressive than Usyk clearing out a crap division and beating a champion who already lost to a fat guy.

                  Nah……

We all know he got a gift vs Winky too.

Yeah Taylor would likely need to beat Crawford or Spence at 147 to eclipse Usyk.
