I thought Mercer deserved a decision over Lewis but it was WAY closer than the Usyk-Joshua fight.

Mercer also beat Tommy Morrison before fighting Lewis.

Thats a bigger accomplishment than anything Joshua or Usyk has done at heavyweight.

I watched Lewis-Mercer and scored it 7-3 for Lewis. IMO the praise for Mercer performance comes from "better than expected" feeling.
