Lennox Lewis fought Ray Mercer in a phone booth type ring, all because the american's wanted him to lose so bad.

Ray Mercer hit infinitely harder than Uysk 'Overall was a more devastating fighter'.

Ray Mercer was also 1988 Heavyweight Olympic Gold medalist.

Note: Joshua is trying, and I give him credit for that. But he is a tad whimsical in his losing efforts at times, for a super heavyweight 'He does not seem like a mountain to climb'. To beat Lennox Lewis, it was metaphorical like trying to climb Mount Everest '99.9% of the time'.

Nobody really beat Lennox Lewis strength for strength, skill for skill. He may have got complacent at times, but rectified that in rematches 'Emphatically, which is something Joshua did not do against Ruiz II'.

Lennox Lewis was in a challenging fight vs Mercer, so he had no choice but to engage in all out warfare 'Joshua did not do that last night ****Em why? He did not quite do that against a fighter who has never been renowned as a devastating puncher'.

Actually I only right now realized that Joshua-Usyk in a way is a mirror fight with Levis-Mercer )) Think about it - in 1988 Olympics Lewis was a superheavyweight champ (above 91 kg) while Mercer was a heavyweight Gold medalist (below 91 kg). It is exactly the same with Joshua and Usyk - only they won their medals in 2012 Olympic games. I'm wondering if those only two occurrences for Heavy-Superheavy Champions fighting each other. Have to look it up.

In terms of the action, it was not a mirror fight.

Lennox Lewis vs Ray Mercer was fought at a by far higher intensity, and both fighters showed greater offensive work. More so than both Joshua & Uysk in their fight.

Joshua vs Usyk was a bit of a one paced, medium intensity fight 'It looked like a hard spar'.

In my first post in this thread, I actually reminded people that Ray Mercer was the 1988 Heavyweight Olympic Champion 'I have no idea why the thread starter is trying to make out, that Mercer was so terrible boxer'.
