    The best CW since Holyfield

I keep hearing this. The best CW since Holyfield.

How about the best CW ever? Period!

Better resume, more accomplished and did it all on Road back-to-back-to-back!
Would Holyfield beat Usyk head-to-head? Debatable but for me there is no debate as to who the better CW is or was.

I love Holyfield and I don't want to pick apart his CW resume but honestly there is no debate to be had here.

Lets not call Usyk the best CW since Holyfield or one of the best CWs, lets just have it right he is the #goat CW and he earned that the hard way.

    - -Usyk a hvywt in Field era with a better hvy record than him as a Olympic Gold hvy for starters.

Field pro hvy record 26-10-2, 15 KO.

Usyk 24-0, 15 KO and unified titles. Field inherited a unified title that quickly splintered.

Usyk defeated more top guys at Cruiserweight ,however Holyfield became the heavyweight champion as well if we include that as a whole on a better Cruiserweight ? I don’t believe Usyk is better then Holyfield in ahead to head ,he has no wins in any fight that shows that . Maybe a win against a 6”6 240 plus pounder changes my mind but I expect AJ to thoroughly deal with Usyk so there will still always be a question who was the better Cruiserweight,I’d say Usyk in terms of just at Cruiserweight.

David Haye for me is the best cruiser weight since Evander Holyfield.

David Haye that got smashed by an ancient Carl Thompson and whose best win is a life ad death affair with a past prime nearing 40yr old Jean Marc Mormeck?

I'm not even sure I'd have Haye down as the best CW from the UK let alone up there with those boys and they would both of absolutely smoked Haye.

This debate happens time and time again. It boils down to "does heavyweight action weigh in on cruiser weight GOAt status?" Its a debate as old as the hills... real boxing fans laugh when Tunney is put on a heavyweight list... Tunney was a great heavyweight, but truly exceptional as a cruiser.

I would argue that a truly great cruiser should at least attempt to fight low hanging fruit at heavy, if not get in there and be the heavyweight champ. As far as where Usyk belongs, lets put it this way: He belongs in a place where the mere mention of David Haye would create laughter and the shaking of heads. at his best Usyk beats Haye with one hand tied behind his back... at his best he beats Haye with Caleb's sunglasses sewn around his eyes...
