Move on Eddie. Broner's might be a big name but not very capable at 147. It's fair to describe him as a gatekeeper now I think. Benn's still relatively green so don't mind him taking it slowish but nothing to stop him competing for a domestic title before moving up to the world level. 15-0 Ekow Essuman for the British and Commonwealth? You made good points. Mine was just a gut feeling. I sort of see traces of desperation in Broner's eyes. It has nothing to do with his declining (or less) boxing skills. Probably he's realizing that his moment has gone forever, and that the money he squandered won't come back.

Broner never really had any business being at 147. If he managed to not get fat between fights and actually trained he would still be relevant at 140 and could’ve beat a lot of the top dudes (not Prograis or Taylor though).
