I would encourage people to ask yourself a question and hint: the answer is all over Youtube, a great resource to pull up fights. When cruisers came up to challenge, when was a heavyweight's size the impediment to them winning? So for example, was Joe Frazier really big compared to Bob Foster? Was Spinks really small next to Tyson? How much bigger was Dempsey than Tunney? Did Bowe dominate Holyfield for 3 fights? or not? and if so, was it because he was just so much bigger? Did Toney have problems, because he was a blown up middle weight? because he was competitive with every heavy he fought.
You will find that seldom is the size difference the reason a cruiser is shut down. yes there is a measure for a heavyweight which is partially based on weight and also on bone size (frame) etc... But the issue of size and Usyk's chances because of the size difference is exaggerated to a great degree.
Here in an example: James Toney, like Usyk is a very skilled boxer with many skills... He probably has a better chin than Usyk, though who really knows? but he fought big heavyweights like Sam Peter and arguably should have had his hand raised in at least one of those fights. And people forget that Usyk has more experience at heavyweight than Witherspoon and Chisora, including a fight where he easily beat Joyce, a big heavyweight with heavy hands and power.
For Joshua to win this fight he has to be "better" than Usyk, not only bigger. I don't know if people get this point, or not...
