Plant is not 'my dude', I have never rooted for or against him. Unlike yourself and a lot of other fans on here, I don't get emotionally involved with these fighters to the points where I have to go out of my way to defend them on the internet. Of course I have my favourites but I am a fan of boxing before any fighter, that way I stay as objective/consistent as possible and true to the sport.

When did not looking at the full facts become taboo?

Morales received no ban from the athletic commission in question, in fact they let him proceed with the fight after the positive tests. He had signed up to a protocol that had USADA both conducting the tests and adjudicating any findings. They decided after the fight to ban him from fighting in the US for two years, which amounted to zero punishment as he had already indicated no intention of ever fighting in the US again.

Canelo tested positive by VADA, under a protocol in which, as is more customary, they conduct the tests and the relevant athletic commission adjudicates the test results. Canelo tested positive, and was immediately suspended pending a hearing. He was called to a hearing, but his team came to an adjudication agreement with the commission immediately prior to the hearing in which he accepted a one-year suspension, reduced to six months for co-operating with the process, as allowed by commission rules. The upshot was that his fight with Golovkin could not proceed as planned (i.e. was cancelled, but effectively pushed back).

According to the agreement between Canelo and the NSAC:

"Alvarez cooperated with the director's investigation into the positive urinalyses and provided information related to his diet in the days leading up to the collection of the urinalyses specimen samples, including his statement that he consumed meat during that time.

"Alvarez admits that the presence of clenbuterol in his urinalyses samples constitutes a violation of the commission's anti-doping regulations, regardless of whether or not he intentionally, knowingly, or negligently ingested the prohibited substance. Alvarez denies intentionally taking clenbuterol or any other substances prohibited by the commission."

Canelo could just put his cheating ways to rest by admitting and asking forgiveness. Instead he and his team go crazy when confronted with the facts. What a shame. RIP to Plant, since cheating started Canelo hasn’t gotten tired in fights and he won’t get tired against Plant unless he stopped taking what he’s taking to not get tired.

Apples and oranges, yeah Canelo slapped plant a.ss up but it doesn't change the fact that Canelo cheated and many of his team mates did.

Canelo being mad because Caleb is telling the truth. Caleb never insulted his mother. It's Nelo ego that has been shaked by the word "cheater". Dude act like it never happened.

If I was Caleb I would Come to the next press conf and serve Canelo and Eddy beef tacos and tea.

He and his team are used to a sycophantic response and now someone’s calling them out. Canelo is a drug chest, the Reynoso team has a history of being home to ped use…..calling them out on it taps into an extreme sense of entitlement

Plant will do an excellent job of promoting this fight. And yes Canelo is a drug cheat and I find it amazing that his stamina issues have just vanished recently. Plant nailed it on that, the whole camp is dirty. At last count 4 Reynoso fighters have pyssed hot innit.
Wow, I know Canelo and Valdez, who were the other 2?

what's the point in fighting someone if you feel they are cheating. Don't accept the fight, then complain.

It's like when you forgive someone and keep on throwing the mistake in their faces.

Plant is acting like a woman.

DON't take the fight caleb, move on then.
