Canelo groupies really will defend their man over anything lol. I like both guys but I’m loving how Plant is selling the crap out of this fight.Comment

Roy Jones, Shane Mosley, and James Toney are cheaters. I hope you had that same energy at their HOF inductions. No excuses. Plant did the right thing.
Once you get caught cheating, that should be topic #1 always. Cheaters should be shamed until far past the end of their careers.
Anyone caught cheating should have their boxing alias changed to the drug they got caught.
Saul "Clenbuterol" Alvarez and Oscar "Phetermine" Valdez
Keep bringing it out
We need to keep these fighters honest ... its worse than occasional bad judgingComment

Yeah, Canelo is great, but a cheater! He's gonna whip Plant bad though. Plant has literally fought no one!Comment

I love Plant’s swagger - I love how he’s shaming the boxing media (which is full of sycophants anxious to pump up Canelo because they think he’s the golden goose who keeps them relevant and employed in a dying sport) and the Canelo fan boys (who are just, well, blindly gullible fan boys) . Plant’s keeping both the boxing media and fanboys from diverting attention away from the PED cloud over Canelo’s head. I love this! Clearly Plant is in there to win - not lie on the ropes for 12 rounds and get hit like a heavy bag (Callum Smith) or just do enough to be able delude himself forever that he was “competitive ” with Alvarez (like Saunders). Keep at it, Plant -I’m rooting for you!Last edited by Roj; 09-22-2021, 09:32 AM.Comment

...oh no.
Time to call it: Caleb Plant's face is getting smashed in and NSB will be screaming about PEDs again, just like with Saunders.
I don't know why these fighters keep poking the bull like this.Comment

Plant is actually wrong in his claim that the suspension by itself is proof of cheating. The NSAC expressly changed its rules in 2016 in order to re-codify who was liable in the case of a doping offense, making the onus stricter. Its regulations specify that "it is not necessary to establish that the unarmed combatant intentionally, knowingly or negligently used a prohibited substance or that the unarmed combatant is otherwise at fault for the presence of the prohibited substance"
The substance being in his body made it an offense. No one disputes it was there. He was handed a suspension accordingly. It does not follow, though, that the suspension means he knowingly or negligently used the substance.
I'm not saying he didn't cheat. All I'm doing is pointing out the fallacy in Plant's logic when he points to the suspension as indisuptable proof that Canelo cheated.
And, in fact, the suspension came as the result of an agreement between Canelo and the NSAC in which Canelo acknowledged the presence of the substance in his body but expressly denied intentionally ingesting the drug. That the NSAC entered into the agreement with Canelo, along with the relatively benign punishment, demonstrates they accepted his argument.
Plant can say he thinks Canelo is a cheat. He can say it's a plain fact that Canelo was suspended for testing positive for a prohibited substance. He cannot, though, say the suspension proves he cheated.Last edited by Monty Fisto; 09-22-2021, 09:42 AM.Comment

Lots of betas hating on Caleb Plant for no reason. Everything he said is factual and he didn't say anything about Canelo's mum either, that's just Canelo playing mind games. I don't understand why FANS get involved and all emotional over this stuff. So embarrassing.
I expect Caleb Plant to bring his A game and win some rounds and make the fight competitive, but Canelo is just too good, I think he will outscore Plant and land the better, more devastating shots.Comment
