For one reason or another? There would obviously be consequence but it doesn't mean it's a guarantee. The issue is whether Teofimo is letting the majority of boxing fans down by not giving a rematch. The other issues is whether Teofimo's excuse to not give Loma a rematch is justified.

If he just said that he's going to fight someone else and is working on that fight, then I'd say fine. But that's not the case. He doesn't have anyone lined up after Kambosos. The guy he wants to fight looks as if he's leaving the division. The whole point was for Teofimo to have a chance to unify to divisions. But Taylor said that it wouldn't work because Teofimo is not undisputed and has to fight Haney first and beat him. So it appears that it's not going to happen.

That leaves one fight for Lopez on which to make a ton of money. He said it was easy to beat Loma and could do again easily. Worse than before. So it's a super easy fight for Teofimo. On top of it, he stands to make more money than he's ever made before, which as a prize fighter, you'd think that means something. It's a guaranteed, easy fight to make, much easier than the Taylor fight. But Teofimo's excuse is that "Lomachenko wouldn't have given me a rematch." And that's where things really start to smell like ****. First, Loma has never said he'd never give Lopez a rematch. If anything, he'd gladly give Lopez a rematch just for a chance to put a beat down on the kid again. That's obvious. Then there's this Loma never gives anyone a rematch. But who has asked for a rematch?! I can think of only one person and that would be Gary Russell Jr. But he only said this much later, and there's been no reports of a petition or contract ever being sent to Loma. We would have heard about it. Instead we just hear about Gary trying to fight Tank, Haney, Crawford, just a bunch of people other than Loma.

So Teofimo's reasoning sounds like bull****. And if you think about it logically, it starts to sound idiotic too. Maybe he could say: "well, maybe I fight Loma again. It just depends one what happens with Taylor." But that's not what he's saying. He's shooting it down with some knee-jerk, dumbass excuse. It's a bad look for Teofimo and makes him look scared. It just does.

It also lets down many boxing fans and hurts Teofimo's reputation.
Not bad....have you ever thought that Te just cant stand Loma and is doing all this to undermine them

Yeah. I have. And the only person who has a reason to hate Loma is Teofimo's father. The father is the only who had any issue with Loma. Teofimo didn't like him because of allegedly that Loma disrespected the father (even though it was clear it was the other way around). So the only person who has a reason to really dislike Loma is the father. But the father wants the rematch!!! The father wants the rematch!! If the father is cool with a rematch and isn't upset with Loma anymore, then how can Teofimo be upset with him? For what? It's just BS man. I'm telling you.

It's like everything. It's a psychological thing. Why are kids or young men more violent or engage in risky behavior? Because they feel as though they have NOTHING to lose. A man who has nothing to lose is a very dangerous man. But the moment a man has a family, a wife, kids, people who depend on him, then he's got something to lose. That's when a man starts to feel fear. It's the same with Teofimo. He had nothing really to lose because he didn't have anything. He only had things to gain. We all knew it. But now, he's got everything to lose. And now he knows what fear feels like.

And that is the why of it.

Yes. I had Lopez winning 117-111, but yes. Lopez swept the board the first 7 rounds, anyone who doesn't think so, does not know boxing, but between 8-11, we saw the real Loma, and he won 3 at least of those, and had a case for 4, though Lopez dominated round 12. I think the rematch could be a classic. Nash out.

          I had it a DRAW.

It's weird, but whenever I watch a fight and don't score it while Ward is commentating, I always think Ward is crazy. But whenever I score a fight, it almost always comes out exactly as Ward. Never fails.
you had 12 as a swing round??? hahahahaha

Haney. We’ve seen him beat Loma clearly. Let’s see him fight the guy Loma wouldn’t fight.

He beats him and stays at 135, then if no Tank ( which we know will not happen) then give Loma a rematch.

Giving rounds 2 and 7 to Loma can only be because you’re a fan. That isn’t credible.

2 and 12 were not swing rounds imo. there is no way in hell round 12 was anything but a clear Teo round.

Ward is a TR broadcaster that gave the best outcome he could to the preferred TR boxer.

2 and 12 were in no way a swing rounds. WTF?

Okay Dunn. Pretty easy to dismiss things in a knee jerk fashion because you don't like them. That's really ****ing easy. You knew you were going to say this all all along so why the **** did you even ask me? Stay tuned ... I'm about to crush any argument you can ever have here with your own skewed, preconceived, prejudicial narrative of favoritism and bias. I'm about to hit you in the face with a fistful of facts. I would say yes, Teo-Loma 2 should happen next for Teo, unless he has a bigger fight on the horizon (i.e. Josh Taylor at 140 or one of the other top lightweights)

Other than that, why not get paid well to show the world that you have Loma’s number?

Dude you wasted a one. I gave my score and asked you how you did. You posted a video before you told me how you scored the fight.

Knee jerk fashion? No dude. I watched the fight and scored it. You have Loma 2 rounds during a period he wasn’t active.

So we’re clear- Loma have those rounds away. I’m not suggesting Teo was super offensive.

I’m also not the only one who pushed back on your assertion the 12th was a swing round.
