I think most expected a big knock out either way in the Breazeale vs Wilder fight mainly Wilder many people picked Breazeale to defeat Wallin on here questioning his one good showing against Fury as a fluke ,but Wallin showed he can survive a puncher and out box him thoroughly without a knockout happening .

All of Fury's hardcore fans are wanting Wallin to beat Whyte 'Maybe because Wallin busted up Fury real good'.

Note: This is how, Tyson Fury's reputation grows. With all these proxy type wars. If Wallin beats or does well against Dillian Whyte? People will then invalidate Whyte has a challenger against Fury, or speak as if Fury has beaten him already 'And this type of behavior will happen in mass, all over the internet, on the streets, in the pubs and bars where his fans meet' and then the narratives will just disperse everywhere'.

This is a new phenomenon that I have only really seen with Tyson Fury 'He mystically absorbs the credit of other fighters performances' even though he has not beaten most of the fighters Whyte or Joshua has fought.

It is quite difficult for me to explain, this almost mystical phenomenon which surrounds Tyson Fury. I have never seen it before with any Champion.

Dillian Whyte is most likely going to **** out Wallin, not because he is better than Tyson Fury 'But because stylistically, I think Wallin does not really have the power to trouble Whyte much'.

I think this a good fight, because Wallin gave Tyson Fury a good fight 'Whyte and his team will use this to market the fight'.

Note: I don't think Dillian Whyte beats Tyson Fury, but it is a good match up. It will be a great event, and has a theme. Those are the type of fights that need to be made.

Its amazing how depending on the seasons, the way the wind blows, etc... some fighters become mythological, or grossly underrated... In the Fury fight Fury got busted up and proceeded to show the judges, the ref, doctors, etc that he was willing and able to carry on. Wallin never presented a threat as he did not have the ability to target the eye... And Fury won every round, etc. Wallin's hope was that the fight would be stopped.

This fight depends on what Whyte is willing to do. Will he show up in shape? Whyte makes this a fight if he is heavy... or otherwise unprepared, if he becomes "old" suddenly.

Wallin, Konawski, Hunter, and many many others are fighters that have yet to really capitalize and show talent as a front runner.
If Wallin does beat Whyte then he moves ahead of the pack. Breazile was a nice victory, but Breazile never did much to move out of the pack himself.

How do you figure? Fury did exactly what he was supposed to do. He made it clear he was able to deal with the injury and continued to paste Wallin.
By comparison in the Vitalie Lewis fight, Lewis was targeting the eye, and was coming on the last round before the stoppage. It presented a real risk in the eyes of those who had to decide if the fight should go on. Whether Wallin turns out to be the next Ali, or another decent, workmanlike Ammy styled Euro plodding fighter, does not affect Fury in any way what-so-ever.

I will admit that I like Wallin. Is he overrated a bit? Maybe. He's a big, skilled, fairly athletic southpaw. He has average power and has gassed in the later rounds of a few. He seems pretty rugged and I can't recall ever really seeing him hurt by a punch.

Yeah, he lost the fight to Fury. I had it about 8 rounds to 4. He busted up Fury early because he was landing shots on him. Breazeale is a very solid win.

I don't think he's the best HW out there but he does pose some challenges and is no easy out. We had heard Arreola, Franklin and Martin as possible opponents, the selection of Wallin is more dangerous than those previous names.

Interesting matchup. Wallin doesn't seem to carry elite power, he landed everything on Breazeale but couldn't get him out of there. He is a tricky southpaw, seems pretty durable and can box.

I envision a fight where Whyte has some moments early, Wallin gets settled in and outboxes him for a while and towards the end both are gassed and one gets caught and dropped. Whyte could catch him early too. It really depends on Wallin's chin. Very excited, I think it's a dangerous fight for The Body Snatcher.
