Admit that Terence Crawford is fighting a tough fight right here

Porter is a former two time welterweight champion who probably deserved a draw with Errol Spence.

Is that not a tough fight at welterweight?

No he didn’t. But yes the fight ended up being good close fight.

Hopefully this one will being just as good. But Crawford is a 4.5-1 favorite. I am not sure that equates to tough.

Maybe those odds are a bit wide.

Style wise Porter will present some challenges for Crawford from a physical standpoint. If Porter stays a 5 to 1 underdog I might put a couple of bills on him for the value. Even though I think Crawford should win.

What have I posted that suggests I wouldn’t give him full credit?

I wasnt one of those people. I pointed out the choice Crawford made and the consequences of that decision. Nothing unfair.

He took the money. We all get it. The consequences of that was no top ww on pbc and a string of low quality opposition. That was on him.

This is a tough fight for Crawford imo, Porter is tough and even in his loses, they are always extremely close.

I’ve argued that Crawford is one of the biggest waste of talents in recent years. But I argue that because I think so highly of his skills. Instead of trying to truly challenge himself he took easy money from Arum for crap fights. Having said all that I give him all the credit in the world for taking this fight. I personally am leaning towards him showing he’s a level above Porter and being a clear victor in a wide fight. And then we’ll start asking for Spence again. Sorry but more is asked of the people who show glimpses of greatness.

Porter IS a challenge for any welterweight. My opinion is that he will take it to Bud for a few rounds and then like in most of his other fights, Bud will nail Porter with a shot that Porter will not see coming and stop him. Should be a good scrap though. Looking forward to this and hope it does not get cancelled.
