How exactly is that tough based on those odds?
The odds reflect what so many Bud critics deny: that he’s a great fighter (talent-wise) who simply needs better opponents to validate his greatness.

The better question is who else would be listed as a 5-1 favorite over Shawn Porter? And what were the odds for Bud’s previous opponents?

This is a real fight and so let’s not act like Shawn is a bum now when he took Errol Spence Jr. to a split decision two fights ago.

Don’t disagree with you. Not calling Porter a bum either. Just asking the TS, that has a man crush on Crawford, about the toughness relative to the odds.

But Porter is fighting Crawford and I hold my hand up to that. But then it's still only Porter, Spence v Crawford is the one everybody wants, the divisions big fight.
But that was Crawford’s fault for re-signing knowing this was going to happen.

You’re mad at Haymon and PBC because Bob way overpaid Crawford to block pbc from unifying the ww division and giving you the main fight you wanted -Spence v Crawford.

        That just doesn’t make sense.

Why would signing to Bob again block a unification between Bud and Spence?

            You know why.

Bob lost money willingly solely to block pbc from having all the top ww’s and doing a tourney/round robin.

So pbc went ahead with their guys fighting each other.

You and others talk about money or legacy. Crawford chose money. It’s not on pbc to help him with his legacy.

I think that most elite (or perceived as elite) fighters are overwhelming favorites in their fights, even against guys like Porter who have come up just short against other elite guys.

I get your point though and the only close to even money fight for Crawford would be Errol Spence Jr, even though Porter took Errol to a split decision
