Holyfield is shot to pieces and he knows it...this was all a money grab (possibly for child support), especially when he went on about possibly suing Triller for not rescheduling the bout with McBride after Lopez/Kambosos fell through.

What's sad is the fact that this fight was actually sanctioned. Disgusting. Even watching Tito get his clock cleaned for the 50th time wasn't worth the buck or the time....thankfully, I gave neither. Those highlights were up on Youtube by midnight and that's very telling of how garbage the card was.

I was trying to give him some hope but I forgot about the "back child support" that never seems to go away. I know a few older guys (uncles) who went on yearssss without paying and eventually raised their hands and walked away. I’m really surprised that Triller would pay Holyfield that much for this kind of fight. That’s a hell of a purse for an 8 round fight especially considering they were going to be two minute rounds had there been no stoppage. Evander didn’t even finish one round and probably didn’t have much of a chance to train seriously. He took the fight on one weeks notice. That’s crazy money that he got though. Most fighters will never come close to making that kind of money in their whole careers, never mind a short, casual circus fight like this. I’d be able to survive on 5 million for a lifetime!
